- Hello Everyone! So much happening in my country now, so I was inspired to speak a little bit about compassion, and how I have found ways to apply it to myself and to others. It's not always easy, but in times of fear and great change, I think it is worthwhile to remember. I learned something about empathy , It's so true that the pain a child feels may seem to us, over dramatic but, in truth, it very well may be the MOST painful thing the child has endured in life this far. Thank you for sharing that . It resonated with me.

I think this can apply to anyone's pain, young or old. This may, very well, be the hardest thing they've experienced. So, we need to extend compassion to others' lived experiences.

I hope she does publish her own poem/story someday and fill it with nature photos and her drawings. I've never really been a wilderness girl. I grew up equating nature with scary creepy bugs (and it's true. Don't lie to me) but her videography is so amazing that it's even making me want to go hike there. Literally was just looking up cottage stays in Washington lmao The view is so gorgeous I'm crying 😭
A true INFJ can never stop dreaming. They are the gifts of God to fill the world with kindness, honesty, compassionate, love, support. Though sometimes it feels little heavy and tiredsome, it's tough to not being understood by others. We see the world with different eyes.

I’m still a kid and I spend a lot of my time alone with my thoughts I tend to see life through stories and it’s a way for me to cope with personal issues. Up until I found this Chanel I thought a life like this would be unachievable. These videos have given me hope of a future where I could be alone in nature surrounded by the stories that I’ve been creating for as long as I could remember.

I don’t know how many years it has been since I’ve commented on a youtube video and I have just recently started watching you but I really wanted to express my appreciation. I was getting ready for work and sobbing over thoughts of worthlessness and ending my life and then I saw this video recently uploaded. I started watching and it almost instantly calmed me down. It really felt like you were holding my hand and telling me to slow down. Thank you for that; you are truly amazing. :)
my heart goes out to you, I am so sorry you are going through that. In a difficult period of my life I felt that way as well. I remember how, at the time, my brain was certain those horrible feelings would never go away, and that this was my new reality. Looking back on that now, I’m glad I didn’t accept that that was how things were always going to be, I tried my best to believe that things would change for the better. I know they will for you too. One idea that I often contemplate and that you echo in every video I've seen so far is that we don't spend enough time just being quiet and listening and observing nature, just being peaceful in our own thoughts. We need it more than ever before in our country. We'd all be so much happier for it. We are very fortunate to live in the mountains in a beautiful setting so it's very easy for us to do, if we just stop and breathe. Everyone is so angry and it shocks and appalls me daily, how individuals can wish harm on others who simply have opposing opinions. They sure need some nature therapy! I have been accused of being overly sensitive; but at 65, I've accepted that it is part of what makes me, me!
I just created a folder of just your videos entitled "self care." It is a reminder how important it is to incorporate into daily life.
Many may think what difference does it make if one person lives sustainably etc etc etc... but oh boy - the amount of people you inspire with your artful videos to come down, think, live mindfully, change a little bit... You're making a big impact here, I can tell

I’m a country boy (old man) stuck in the city most my life. I also spent over 20 yrs in the military dragging my kids around me spending a year in the Vietnam war - your videos have a healing effect - thank you.
You have reignited a spark within me which I've not felt for a long while. I recall in one of your videos you mentioned that you are at your happiest when engaged in activities that you enjoyed as a child, and this reminded me that as children this was a time of our lives when we were more trusting, free, vulnerable to the world's experiences. I grew up in a home where my mum grew our fruits and vegetables, she cooked some, pickled and preserved others, and she made my clothes. My life is vastly different from this now, and I've forgotten life's simple pleasures from childhood. As I cook, garden, and perform my other home-making tasks, instead of them feeling like a chore with the next task on my mind as I rush through the first, I am filled with joy for the opportunity to do them. I've started harvesting herbs and making teas with them, too. Oh, and I started to paint and draw again, inspired by your videos. I dare say that this is by far my most favorite RUclips channel! The vibe reminds me of Heidy and Anne of Green Gables. I'm so in love of how she spends her time, the way she narrates, the calmness in her voice and overall personality. Her art and simplicity is so inspiring. Autumn for me is an exciting time and it fills me with anticipation whereas spring is a time of awakening.
I once operated a forest fire lookout tower here in the mountains of New York and that kind of solitude enriches one's soul, but I also find that most people find the isolation too difficult to bear. That is truly a shame because it really does one a world of good.

Your words are so poetic. Poems inspire me. You feel so connected to an environment of yours, I feel you have inspired me to tell a story about an environment I myself lived in :)
As a person, I have a longing to break the barrier between myself and the natural world. I’ve felt this since I was 9 years of age. I though I could do so by spending much more time in my surroundings and making more of an effort to know it, but that has failed. It has failed because wanting to be a part of earths nature and growth was derived by Apollyon a longing to be a part of it, not a specific love for it. But this is where the story begins. Ever since sixth grade, I have loved what’s beyond our planet. It has always been fascinating to me. I love learning about zodiac signs, constellations, Star cycles, and new discoveries. I didn’t then, but I realize now that the longing could only be quenched by a somewhat hidden, but always present, interest of mine.
My older brother is a photographer. Ever since he was around fourteen, he got into astro-photography and astronomy. It may be genetic, or from our similar encounters and experiences that we share this hidden love for space. He has accumulated many mounts and cameras and technology to help him with his photographs over the years, and every time he found something amazing while I was young (and it wasn’t past 11), my mothers would allow him to bring me outside and look through his telescope to see the night sky, and we would look in silence. Then, when I had just turned 12 and he was 16, we started building an observatory. Our neighbor was good with wood and so he helped tremendously in th building process, and I am an artist, so I filled the walls with colorful murals. We would go inside Teh observatory in clear nights and look at Star clusters and streaks of the Milky Way. We would look at Cassiopeia, look at nebulas, look at galaxies, look at planets like mars, Juliet and it’s moon and rings, and the brightest, Venus. Of course, some of these could only be seen through his pictures with his technology.

I recently found this channel, it is so soothing. I often don’t sleep at night due to severe PTSD and brain damage from extreme physical and mental trauma from a past relationship.
