I really liked what Max says about Victoria to Kate in the hospital. (Assuming you comforted Victoria and saved Kate) That they had a genuine moment together. Victoria's guard was down and she was vulnerable. Max choosing to comfort her shows you a side to Victoria that you didn't think she had. Good stories are made great when there's a rival to the main protagonist! *Victoria is BFF!*
Exactly! That's why I love hearing all the dialogue in Life is Strange before having an opinion about a character. Vic is just a teenager and things like this happen IRL. She may be a bully, but in actuality she's being bullied by her parents, which is hella wrong!
I can kinda relate to Victoria in a way. My older sibling is seen as the artist of the family since they have a BFA in ceramics and became an artist in residence at a reputable school. While I'm just a lowly painter, and cosplayer that my family sees as just "dressing up when it's not Halloween". So it kinda makes me feel really inferior I guess.
You should never feel inferior! If your work and art make you feel happy then that is success! And hey, if you ever want to share any of your art/cosplay please let me know and I will share it in an episode!
Yes! Victoria is my favourite character. I love her. I love how you find out more and more about her through each successive episode, and those rare moments she's honest and opens up to Max. Most of all though, I love her haircut. Oh, and I guess I ship her and Max #ChasefieldFTW
Me too! There are some hidden gems about her character in every episode. I also like how Max's thoughts about her change towards the part when she meets up with Kate in the hospital. And yes, Chasefield is adorable!
How she acknowledges that she was wrong to bully Kate. She looks like she's carrying a huge burden inside her. And when she says she would do anything to see kate once more and tell her she is sorry.
I know a girl who acts almost similar to Victoria. She seems mean at a lot of times. But yet she claims she's actually a really nice person. She claims that she's just like me. Perhaps I should give myself a chance to accept her for who she is. Even to accept Victoria for who she is. Hmm.
Sometimes people will need time to understand what they did wrong. With Vic, I really think it was Kate who helped show her what remorse and kindness is. I accepted Victoria for who she is because: 1.) We learned about her backstory with her parents 2.) She admits that she's just a teenager 3.) She changes in the end
I know! It's understandable and people have the right to their own opinions, but I always try and shine a light on the positive parts/facts about a character! :) What do you love about Vic?
Miscat Squad I think the fact that she reminds me of myself is why I like her so much. But also because she has so much depth as a character. Like, at first she's super rude but when you get to see her vulnerable side it really makes you think about how people tend to hide their true selves around others. It's super interesting!
The only non-saveable character in the game - the "Satan" of Arcadia Bay, if you like - is Jeffershit. Everyone else is capable of being redeemed in one way or the other.

Im 3 months late, but u do know if u sacrifice Arcadia Bay she survives? In Life is Strange 2 in the last episode you find a letter from her to David which is her thanking him for saving her (David and Victoria are the only 2 people who survive pther than Max and Chloe if you sacrifice the town)
Hey Katya! I really related to a lot to Victoria and I still do in some ways. I really agree with what you said. From what we've seen in the original LiS and the prequel, she's been wearing this mask for years. And the longer you wear it, it seems more and more impossible to take it off. Especially when it seems like keeping it on is the only way to survive. She's got more than one side to her that shines through though. Hopefully we'll be able to see that in Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
I agree! I'm hoping we learn much more about Vic in Before the Storm just like we did in Life is Strange! And yeah, it's hard when you have to be a person someone expects you to be. I feel like she's kind of a puppet to the Chase family, just as much as Nathan is to the Prescotts.
Late to the party. I will admit I was not a fan of Victoria in my first playthrough, but as I got older I think she became more relatable. Having gone to school in the notoriously comptitive field of theatre, she started to make a lot more sense. I started to see how badly she wanted to be accepted, by the galleries, by her parents, by her friends. The problem is balancing who you are, with who you want to be, and what others want you to be. I guess that struggle is why I like Victoria's character.
In life strange 2 episode 5 she wrote a letter to David Madsen who lives next to Sean and Daniels mother in the Arizona desert. She offered to help financially or in any other way, because David saved her life from Mark Jefferson.
I think I can relate to her, ya know. Not about being a bully, but I admit I can be a "bitch" sometimes. And most of this is bc my family pressure me. I'm insecure af since I was a child, bc my parents and sister fight so much (yea, they still do) and then discount their anger on me. I just... See her, feel her. (sorry for any mistakes, eng isn't my first language) I watched A Girl Like Her a few days ago, and Avery is pretty much like Victoria too. It's on Netflix, it's about bullying and I think everyone should watch this movie.
I like her attitude. What can I say I like girls who act like a mean queen but still deep inside you can find that Victoria she's just another normal person with good heart despite of how she act
I love Victoria so much. Really am happy they confirmed her surviving the storm. She’s such a lovable bitch, I mean that in a good way. If you’re nice to her you see a different side of her, her true side. Just like Chloe she is often misunderstood by those who only judge books by their covers. Not sure if anyone will reply but does anyone think she might be an LGBT character? I’ve always head canon her and Taylor as being in a secret romance. LOL. Before anyone says anything, no I don’t think that just b/c she has a pixie cut. Plus, I know they’re not canon but a lot of fan fictions make her gay. Point is I’m not the only one with this view point. Yes, I know she comes on to Zack and Jeffershit. However, I think Zack was more about messing with Juliet and Jeffershit was just for fame. I never saw her as being truly attracted to either of them.
In all honesty that’s why I tell myself that no matter how many times I play Life is Strange I will always be nice to Victoria. She may be the “Queen Bee” but her heart is golden and she will be nice to you if you treat her right
Sorry for commenting on an old video, but after fixating over lis again I just had to search about it everywhere lol Great video, really liked the points and facts presented! It's really difficult to find people that take time to actually analyze characters like Victoria :)
I respect everyone's opinions but here's mine....yeah Victoria is nice and all once you warn her about Nathan it depends which opinion you choose when she gets paint spilled on her but um idk about the insecuritie part that makes her act the way she does I mean are we going to really forget that she- Spoiler alert Drove Kate too suicide?? If you don't save her ? If you do save her that's great but why is that Victoria suddenly changed when Kate tried to kill herself or when she does ?? Her character doesn't change either way and even when your about to warn her about Nathan she says that Kate doing what she did isn't her fault when it really was Victoria was the main one who bullied Kate over that video 🤔 and driving someone too suicide isn't a excuse for her insecurities so in my opinion Victoria is the worse character in the game i at least felt for Nathan because he actually have issues and I understand that and Nathan actually apologized and admitted too his actions but Victoria just has insecurities but doesn't make up for what she did
Absolutely the worst thing in Before the Storm which I hate the most is Victoria Chase. In Life is Strange she was threatening and menacing. In Before the Storm she is just plain stupid. Which she is not. Yes, she is a bitch, and she actually did some really horrible things that have no excuse whatsoever. But she is a smart bitch, not a stupid bitch. As much as Before the Storm made Chloe and Rachel really great, and I give them full credit on that, they did screw up Victoria's character. Actually there is just only one scene in which I liked her it's when she boooooed in Chloe's theatre dream scene. That was great!
Lol you gotta be kidding me, You’re defending someone that literally humiliated a girl so much that the poor soul would have jumped off a roof if someone didn’t have superpowers. Her past Is irrelevant and her feelings after it happened wouldn’t even matter considering the fact that the victim would already be dead. There’s no excuse
Dude exactly what I said 😂 like why is everyone defending someone who Drove another girl to kill herself?? Either almost or did 🤔 I'm not understanding why Victoria is so well liked
Also her attitude, walking style is kind of cool
There should a walk like Vic Day! Lol!
I know. Thanks
Yep, a lot of ppl don't like it, but I actually do, it's funny and iconic, vic is iconic, everything that comes out of her mouth is def iconic.
I really liked what Max says about Victoria to Kate in the hospital.

Victoria's easily one of the most interesting video game characters I've ever seen in my life
I agree
nathan is
@@seven5410 I agree. Nathan Drake is a legend. "You know, I shot the man who told me that."
I can kinda relate to Victoria in a way. My older sibling is seen as the artist of the family since they have a BFA in ceramics and became an artist in residence at a reputable school.

Victoria really is a hardworking person, have the resources and all. I think she just have to find a person to talk and be a real friend.
And I think Kate or Max would end up being that friend!
Miscat Squad they would make a good trio, lovely Kate and Super Max :D
Yes! Victoria is my favourite character. I love her. I love how you find out more and more about her through each successive episode, and those rare moments she's honest and opens up to Max. Most of all though, I love her haircut. Oh, and I guess I ship her and Max #ChasefieldFTW

That part when she feels remorse about what she did to Kate really told us something about her character. It was great character development for her!
Yeah, episode 5 is the episode for redemptions. Vicky, David and Nathan went from "assholes" to "well, there are more things to them"
Everyone has a bit of good inside them and is able to redeem themselves given the chance
I even relate to Victoria!!!
I love every character in Life is Strange
Me too! They are all precious to me!
Are you doing Nathan too? Maybe Alyssa, Taylor and Ethan? Frank?
YES! I plan on doing all the characters of Life is Strange! Even a Top 10 Reasons to HATE Mr. Jefferson!
I know a girl who acts almost similar to Victoria. She seems mean at a lot of times. But yet she claims she's actually a really nice person. She claims that she's just like me. Perhaps I should give myself a chance to accept her for who she is. Even to accept Victoria for who she is. Hmm.

Victoria is a tsundere, she -secretly- loves Max )
Well, in the fan visual novel, Love is Strange...you get the picture
Loooool
She's So Closeted And I Love Her 😩
Lmao Victoria is my fav but so many people hate her?

You're welcome! What do you love most about our Vic?

I already love her I don't need 10 reasons
Also she does apologize to Kate when she dies she is seen crying.
Why don’t Victoria just stop acting hard and just ask Max out she knows she wants too
I like her attitude. What can I say I like girls who act like a mean queen but still deep inside you can find that Victoria she's just another normal person with good heart despite of how she act

They better put older Victoria in another LIS game somewhere
My 4th favorite video game character!!!!
I literally played life is strange because of Victoria
She as good person but arrogant
Sorry for commenting on an old video, but after fixating over lis again I just had to search about it everywhere lol
Great video, really liked the points and facts presented! It's really difficult to find people that take time to actually analyze characters like Victoria :)
Resume of the video:
Love her because she is a fucking girlboss
I love his enthusiasm and attitude
I think Courtney is just a slave. She made her go do her homework while Taylor chills in Vic's room. I do love sticky vicky tho.
great video!!
Love 💕 you vic
Yes bitches, you better love me

She reminds me of regina george
I got a lot of respect for her after the whole situation with Kate. No matter the outcome, you can tell she feels awful about what she did
I think that's a theory why she likes Nathan.
can I ask you a question are you sure her parents are bad people or not cause to me they never went into that enough for me to decide
My reason number 1: "Boooo!" :)
11: She’s literally Bakugo as a girl.
Kate would disagree
What?!Am i the only one who doesn't hear what she says?
She reminds me of Regina george

Woah this nigga mastered sage mode
The resemblance to you and her...is... something
I actually used to like her before ,before the storm but since she tried to drug Rachel I don't think I do anymore.
