In America, our national ethos is based off of rebellion. Violence of the people when necessary. The idea of violent overthrow is arguably one of the most core concepts behind American identity. I would argue this makes any realization that the status quo is failing not just sad, but scary and fatal in a totally different way… because it suggests that the time has come for you and your generation to be the next one to feed the tree of liberty with blood. One thing that's struck me about almost all of these reaction videos - is the surprise at the song lyrics - and then the agreement with the lyrics - and then a sense of pleasure someone is saying what this man is saying. It's like we've all had our voices taken away and we're too scared to say anything, it's actually more simple than we realise to get what we need and what we deserve.

One thing that's struck me about almost all of these reaction videos - is the surprise at the song lyrics - and then the agreement with the lyrics - and then a sense of pleasure someone is saying what this man is saying. It's like we've all had our voices taken away and we're too scared to say anything, it's actually more simple than we realise to get what we need and what we deserve.

This song actually made me cry the first time I heard it because I am struggling so hard right now just to take care of my family and barely pay my bills. I'm an honorably discharged Marine and this song easily broke me down into tears. I have a blended family with 6 kids and two grandkids. I feel for everyone in our country right now. If our government actually cared about us we might be ok, but I think they have gone too far to come back from it now. I pray that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will return soon. I love watching you two and your reaction videos. I get a big smile on my face when you both do your intro together. You seem great together!! Praise God that there are men and women that still support each other out here 🙏. Stay strong and take care through these tough times and keep your eyes on Jesus!
