I love, love, love Pa Chalamanda. But I am sorry, this band didn't do his music justice. They played his songs as if he was singing at a funeral and just kept dragging the songs. Some of his music is high tempo, which can help people to dance and enjoy them better. I hope while they carry him around, they give him a fair wage. He is a treasure, and I hope Malawians can do better for him. He is supposed to be taken care of by even the government of that country. If the government can't do it, the citizens can gather and help him with his clothes and day to day living. He can even totally be repackaged to enjoy himself now since he didn't enjoy the proceeds of his music when he was young. The people can even take him and sort out his teeth, do him thorough medical check up. I am not Malawian, but I will hate to lose Pa Chalamanda now. I hope someone can post an update on how he is doing and the great changes that have happened in his life since his newfound fame. The level of his agilty at him age is alarming and his joie de vive is infectious. I only hope they use him for good and prosperity for him and his family while he is still with us. I wish him long life, prosperity, and God's blessings.
