- Today, I'm reviewing the House of M Omnibus by Brian Michael Bendis from Marvel Comics! The 2005 hit Marvel Comics comic book event series "House of M" is collected here in oversized hardcover omnibus format, along with all of its tie-in issues and a load of bonus materials in this almost 1,400 page book!
House of M is one of my all-time favorite comic book events, and that makes this omnibus collection a real treat.

You’re in for a treat! For me this main event is one of my favorite events of all time. To have that in oversized hardcover is almost worth it alone, and then with alllll of these tie ins just a blast, get a little sampling of just so many titles in this book. Definitely unlike anything else in my collection.

Enjoyed this finished it the other day haven’t read house of m before, wish they put in the decimation material rather than the tie ins as that would have provided what happened after.
I also wish they put in avengers disassembled. But, still very excited to have read this material in omnibus format. I just love this event, and while I know a lot of the tie-ins weren’t necessary I had fun making my way through it and exploring more of that world.

If you are on the fence I definitely recommend just starting with the event itself. I had the trade paperback for years prior to getting this Omni and loved it. It really is a great self-contained, stand-alone event! The ties in and extras are a ton of fun and fascinating but are largely unnecessary to appreciate house of m.

Thanks man! Yeah one of my absolute favorite Marvel events of all time, but it was my first time reading a lot of the tie in material, which while not as good as the main event, was still a ton of fun!

This looks really good! I have never read any of this run...so it will be new to me!
This entire omnibus I had a ton of fun with, however the main House of M 8 issue event is the real meat of this book. If you wanted to check this out without a full investment you could probably just buy the main event series in the paperback.
However if you love the House of M world this Omni has all of the main tie ins to house of m and I really dug it, fun read :)

Absolutely! While I loved this omnibus I think just the event series itself may be enough for some collectors. The 8-issue event series is a good self-contained story.
