I didn't listen to country music at this time period (I was 14 at the time) but my folks and I watched Hee Haw every Saturday night. However, I don't remember this artist. A month or so ago I was perusing a website of old radio surveys from the late 1970's and early 1980's and ran across Charly McClain and am glad to have discovered her after all this time!
