I saw Luther in concert in Houston Texas in the early 90s with my husband. Luther had an amazing voice. May he and his sisters and mother rest in the bosom of Jesus. I'm here now watching this video because this is one of my favorite songs by Luther and because I was watching Lamont at Large and he visited the grave of one of the Isley Brothers and Luther Vandross grave was below.

We had our photo taken with him...and as the passerby lined us up, he said, 'Ok, big showbiz smiles ya'll'. He went way too soon, like many of them did...but what a legacy they left behind. Those who got to appreciate such music and see these people perform were incredibly lucky. RIP Luther, you were loved.

I LOVED Luther then and I still do but I never got to see him perform live! :(
