I don't mind a small unit to stay for retirement and rent out my big units for rental and then pass them to my daughter.
Depend on your stage of life. If u plan to retire in comfort. Move to somewhere that is convenient n near amenities. The other just takes profit n sell. Paying absd is not advisable unless u love nation building.

It will take an idiot to lose money in Singapore Property Market except for a few exceptional projects. Even if you are damn unlucky at the wrong timing, if you are able to hold onto the property.. it just take a longer time to start earning back your loss if any. HUAT Ah !!!! Many Singaporeans become Millionaires due to their 1st pot of Gold in Property Investing.
But the difference can be significant in the long term.. When your peers make more n encash out n move on. While those bought lousy ones have to wait longer. By then. Runway no more...
