If an officer demonstrates that he/she has had multiple issues, then the Union can either keep employing that officer fully aware of the financial risk, or terminate that officer because of the risk. Does that make sense to you? Taxpayers footing the bill for Officer misconduct, and police unions have no risk of any financial burden for the questionable officers they fight to keep on the force, just so they can continue to receive Union dues.
