to anyone else feeling simultaneously happy for and jealous of danny's success, remember that comparison is the thief of joy. make sure to channel whatever the energy you got from watching these videos was into creative inspiration and not resentment or self-pity that you're not good enough. danny puts his pants on one leg at a time just like you and the main reason he's been able to accomplish so much at such a young age is because of his believing in himself. as cliche as that sounds, all the hard work, the networking with sponsors, the skills he's acquired, the audience he's built, none of those things would have been possible without him first believing in himself, and that's not to say that his belief in his ability to fulfill his vision wasn't riddled with self-doubt, but that he didn't let that self-doubt consume him and overtake his self-belief. so believe in yourself. i love you.
Thank you very much for these words and I can relate to that. I was very envious and jealous long time ago and I hated the outside world so much cause I wasn't capable of and felt that I deserved a shot at it too. I just didn't believe in myself and I was very egotestical. But I have grown since then and today watching this video fills me with joy and Inspiration. I am 37 years old and nowhere near Dany's career. But that is okay because today I am doing what I like even though I am just at the beginning. But Iam thriving and pushing forward and my friends around giving me the feeling that I am more than enough makes it easyer. Now I believe in myself, still with loads of doubts, but I always overcome those and work proactively on my dreams.
I still compare myself to others from time to time, but I always tell myself: Greg... no need of comparison. Your lifepath has been totally different than theirs and it is okay.
So thanks again for reminding me where I was and where I am now and that I will keep fighting for what I love.

When Connor and Tia said goodbye to each other and your voice broke after the final scene, i had tears running down my face. That's how much this BTS doc stands on its own. Making a feature film for the first time is probably one thing, additionally telling the story of how it all came together is on another level. Safe to say this is unprecedented. All I can say is thank you - it felt like we all were a part of the crew. BIG THANKS to Danny, the entire film crew and Colin and Liam for capturing all those unforgettable moments you all went through.

I am 7 minutes into this episode and already I can tell just from the emotions and the energy on set, that the writer of the script placed a significant amount of his life experience and vulnerability on paper and now everyone else is sharing on those raw emotion onset with their own experiences.
Being the same person to direct this Just makes me respect you more and more Danny and this reminds everyone that film sometimes its not about entertaining alone also but to assure people that this things usually happen to people... they just don't TALK.

This whole series was so moving for me, as I'm sure it was for many others. Especially in the fact that I often doubt my ability as a student filmmaker, and seeing this collection of people figuring things out for themselves on a much larger scale comforts me somewhat. I feel more confident just from being able to experience the making of this film through some behind the scenes videos. I thank you for that. Can't wait to see the film!

these episodes seem like such a good guideline to truly see how making a movie is at a smaller budget- I truly loved these episodes and am learning so much by each of them- coming from a former AC in the sports world!
This has been an absolute joy to watch Danny and co. I’m currently a gaffer for a production company in Vancouver, finding it hard to work on my own projects In my little spare time. This has really reinvigorated me to start taking my side projects with friends more serious. These videos really reminded me what the experience is like in smaller crews filled with friends. Man... congratulation on getting married ! I loved the serie, honestly i watched them all without missing an inch of it, was great, well done. Couldn't identify myself more then that, actually working on a 15' short movie with an amazing team, it does make it all, make the days looks shorter and less exhausting. Danny ….Danny man I am no one this production but on the final day when you said “It’s a wrap” , I couldn’t stop my tears rolling down my cheek on my iPad screen , excellent is too small a word to explain this , the crew , the visuals , the actors , the emotions all amalgamated together to make a masterpiece which weirdly enough we can all connect , I am just 17 but I have a huge inclination towards filmmaking and photography, man I never thought I would even try and make a feature not gonna lie man now I want to make one 😅, Excellent job man , waiting for the finished piece .
