It's the audio equivalence to misjudging how much space you had left when writing the sentence, so you just cram the last few letters in the margin like it's getting sucked into a black hole.
I'm not sure on the chronology here, but I'm 💯 that Brennan either: was distracted by Izzy and thus missed out in learning about the Siamese Fireback, or Needs Izzy to go because of that time he didn't know about the Siamese Fireback...
