I was never able to get good resawing results with the same Powermatic bandsaw and riser block setup shown here so I finally spent a half day making adjustments and cutting test boards. I took away from the video that it is possible to resaw a relatively wide board ok with that set up (I had some doubts during my initial testing), and what an appropriate feed speed for doing that looks like. Oh ... and can confirm the noise level is pretty accurate for resawing.

I'm not sure what to make of the demo. Is this good? Sounds loud, is that the point or that its accurate or....
