Hey, quick question, when you jump into the tutorial, you say you are using a birth group modifier and there is an existing sphere. Can you just explain where that is coming from and how to link it to the object. It seems like the new sphere and the sphere that is already in 3D space are somehow linked. can you just explain this a bit more. Thanks. Great tutorial!

Yes, optionally you can set the playback speed to -100%, or you can set the playback speed to 0% and manually keyframe the offset from frame 100 to frame 0 for example i.imgur.com/IZ3YESQ.jpg

How do you unwrap fragmented mesh? An Unwrap UVW breaks after 0 frame. UVW Mapping modifier is not an option as well.
I recommend unwrapping a mesh before you fragment it, it becomes very difficult to do the other way around
