    The nesting bowls are fine. Use long pine needles for nesting materials it helps repels insects and such.

    I love this channel. Most of the people that put video's of the "farm" try to make it look squeaky clean. I absolutely love this! Video's of a real farm. The way it really is.

    Hey Jordan, you should try to make some type of fenced sealing on top of your section where they can’t fly over your head. When they have a way to escape away from you they become very wild and untamed. Great content by the way!! Can’t wait to see how the young birds do!

    9:32 The young birds are ready to wean. When the feathers under the wings are fully formed and there are no pinfeathers, take th away from the nest and put them i to a young bird flying loft.

  • @jeffsummers4123
    @jeffsummers4123 3 года назад

    I like the new look! The nest bowls will work good. I hear Swamp cooler filters work good for the pad. When the youngsters are fully feathered under the wing move them to their own training cage. Get them out so they are with birds close to their own age this will form a bond so when you fly them they will kit up early. If you are missing youngsters this is not good, predators of sorts? Try to get them off the floor especially if you have rats and mice which we all do. Look locally for used bookshelves and anchor them to the wall and put a lip at the front of the shelf so the bowl does not move. Any old wood but anything to get them off the floor. Good luck!!!

    Jordan you look real young without your beard. LOL Great video love to see your birds and they are looking good. I went to the dollar store and got dog plastic food bowls for nest bowls they work ok. I am cheap that is why I call my loft Poor Boy Loft. Keep up the good work and be safe.

    The nest bowls are not bad to be honest just get nest felts (pads) for each bowl! You will see me a lot on this channel now helping you out with your pigeon stuff I keep pigeons but not racers and other only Pakistani high flyers and some tipplers but will still help you around as previously had racers and rollers and tumblers

    Go to the Dollar store and get some of the large plastic dog food bowls to use for nest bowls. Drill a few holes in bottom for moisture drainage. Cheaper and works great. Pine needles are the best bedding.

    Good Evening Jordan, yes Jordan, sideburns gone. With your hat off you're a god looking gentleman. Please keep the beard off Jordan, it ages you a 100 years or more!!!! All your live stock look really, really good. It' a shame the squeakers disappeared. I have known that a rat will take them or a stoat and a weasel if you have them in the US ?? They can get through the smallest hole ever. We don't know how you manage to fit work in and do your small farm. Then again you're a young man as we are getting older some of the garden will have to go next year, it will be very hard not to do it all but each year it gets a little harder! Take care stay safe and keep the razor close to hand!!! Malc and Ann (England) UK xxx

    Looking good without the beard, look 10 years younger. Karen looks like she is going to have twins. Sorry about the lost of certain pigeons' would take everything off the floor cut the metal pipes in half and suspend them on you walls, take the extra wood and close off some of the holes on the sides of the barn. then lower all of the 1/2 buckets. Or even get the extra lumber you have and make some more roosting boxes and place them on the 2x4's. My dad whose 83 loves the coyote drives ands always asking for more of those. Have a great day and God Bless you and your family. my wife loves watching the kids when you have a catch and cook.

    If Pigeons are going missing make sure no vermin can get in. Cover every hole up that is big enough for them to enter. Have you found any carcasses. Look around something is taking them.
