I did agree with this untill I understood why 😂 Because his mentality is that whoever is NOT the host in a podcast should be the main and interesting person. Or so he said in an older podcast.
@@FrozenLabRat i think the most interesting subject in podcast is the viewer. They are not having conversation in a vacum. They are creating a product for people to enjoy and watch in its entirety, so all the adds can be presented and hopefully they can retain audience for future recordings. If someone is disrupting this process because of his ego, he is creating recording that people will not enjoy. However, it is almost all the time responsibility of the host to lead the conversation in a way that it will be interesting for posibly everyone watching. Neil deGrasse Tyson can have ego bigger than mount Everest, however it is on Joe to guide the discussion and direct the guest (sometimes subtle, sometimes in a more direct way) on how to behave during the recording. And during this episode i could see that Joe was trying to tame Neil's ego but all of us did witness, that Neil deGrasse Tyson is untameable. These episodes were all only available on Spotify, but since JRE is back on RUclips, he is posting them here. They were posted to RUclips the same day they were broadcast on Spotify, but JRE private these videos. This is likely because the episodes are large and storing them on a physical drive would take up a lot of space. Man definitely get Elon and Neil on the show at the same time that would lead to some amazing experience.
jackpot! Neil yey
Wish i knew english that well to understand him properly. But hes still very entertaining to listen
I wish Joe Rogan could interview, Carl Sagan, Neil, Degrasse, Tyson, and Mike Tyson simultaneously 🤪🥰
Tyson talks over everyone. On the Rogan podcast it’s especially annoying b/c it’s supposed to be a balanced convo. Tyson needs to shut up half the time. He has no interest in other POV’s and assumes his sentences are more important.
He's a teacher
If these two were sparing before the show it needs to be posted.
Tyson - "Statistics are crazy, people just don't understand the true world." Rogan - "Fish eat algae."
