I Made An Anti Gravity Topsy-Turvy Alice In Wonderland Cake!

For my daughters first birthday I made an anti gravity topsy turvy cake for an Alice in wonderland themed cake smash that I set up at home... to take the photos myself.
I made her Alice dress and An Alice dolly to match.
Meeting the deadlines killed me mentally, emotionally and spiritually, so the entire process was pure chaos!

I watched about 20 Alice in wonderland cake videos before yours and I was thinking I want to be her when I grow up. I'm seriously twice your age but you are SUPER talented!! I really hope you don't give up. Abut 12 years ago I started doing this to earn a little money to help with my medical bills now I'm feeling better and work way too much. But I look back at when I started and I knew NOTHING. I watched shows Googled and used RUclips. Obviously I still do!! I always want to keep learning. And you persevered! There are days I cry and want to quit. And I remember one day telling my husband I was serious this time and meant it. It was after a wedding. I hated the cake and was embarrassed to have to deliver it. I cried the whole way home. Within a week it had hundreds of likes and to this day I get people using that cake as an example of what they want at their wedding. To think I almost quit! 😳🤦

All that work and it was for a smash cake?! You did great and I know that feeling. That’s why I do my decorations days ahead of time. I even bake and freeze my cakes a couple days before.

Omg that was so much work!!!! I love your honesty about being sick of it. Who wouldn’t be. I hope you’re a millionaire after finishing that lol but as a cake decorator also I know you’re not. Great job! You should be so proud. Little difficult watching baby almost kick the cake. Yikes!

That's a brilliant cake ! Using GIMP, could I make my own cupcake toppers ? I want to put an image inside a 2 inch circle, and I want 12 circles, each with a different image. Thanks 🙂
