- Heading back to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park for another adventuire in search of the animals we missed last time. We begin our adventure at Twee Rivieren and strike lucky on the very first day.
Great pacing / editing with nice and chilled viewing. Thank you 🙏 🐆 🦁
Many thanks, much appreciated.
The fact that you name the animals and birds is priceless. Top standard videos. Thank you.
Many thanks. I work on the basis that not everybody watching will have visited these places and seen the animals and birds so may not know what others might find obvious. Glad you appreciate the captions.
Welcome back "old codger"😉. Top quality footage as always & thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it, lots more to come.
Great video and camera work. Thanks for sharing, much appreciated.
Many thanks!
This is great top-notch work👍🏽.
Many, many thanks!
Great footage all the way through. You're a skilled photographer.
I love the beautiful, slow pace in your videos.
I was there 22 years ago when it was The Kalahari-Gemsbok National Park and am still dreaming of coming back one day...
Thank you very much! You'll probably find a few changes in the camps but the park will be much the same I guess. Still not many vehicles there which is one of the things I love.
Thank you for another excellent safari video sir.
Thank you so much!
Maravilhoso ❤❤👍👈
Muito obrigado!
Love the video, you are really showing us around this lovely park!
Glad you enjoyed it, it's a unique and wonderful place.
Lovely to see you back and to share your travels. Look forward to more.
Thanks so much! 😊
Lovely to haver these to look forward to on a Saturday morning with our coffee. That leopard looked pretty amazing - what views you had. A very hot time of year though
Many thanks for watching. It was certainly hot but, surpisingly didn't feel as hot as the Kruger later on which was a good 5° cooler!
YAY you're back ! Awesome can't wait to see all your vids.
Ex south african living in New zealand 😊
Many thanks. Loved New ealand when we went there a few years back.
Amazing leopard sighting. Fantastic footage captured. Glad to see you back in SA. Love the meerkat poses 😂.
By the way, your beer looked flat and warm 😅 it should be ice cold in February.
Wasn't she beautiful? 😄
Even warm it was colder than the daily temerature!
Another great video with fantastic sightings! Can't wait for the next episode, thank you for sharing your experiences.
Thanks for watching! So pleased you enjoyed it.
You are exceptionally lucky. My family have been here since 1654 and we still haven't ben fortunate enough to get where you are . Twice. In my dreams will we go there
Thank you!
Wish I was there
I hope you make it someday!
I like this video
Thank you!
Sure I am going to enjoy this series , Kgalagadi still in my bucket list
At one time it was on our bucket list as well but it turned out to be relatively affordable and easily doable. Start planning, start saving! 😄
@@oldcodgerwithacamera Sure I am saving money and I life in Swakopmund Namibia at the moment so I will drive and enter Kgalagadi at Mata Mata a good 12hour drive
Thank you Old Codger, great quality videography and a good balance between filming the scenery and oneself. Look forward for many more videos. Greetings from Germany
Many thanks!
Thank you for sharing your adventures, since I'm kinda stuck at home, with some breathing and health issues, I really enjoyed the video. God's beautiful creations, oh how beautiful! I hope you both get plenty of rest and fluid in between your adventures and stay safe, Have fun, God bless
Many thanks!
I am so envious of your sightings!! Just amazing already. We were there late Feb/early Mar, and luck was not on our side (40+ temps too!). Looking forward to more episodes. Keep up the good work.
We were there the first two weeks of February so I hope it wasn't us that scared all the animals away for you! We definitely saw more on this trip than we did in May last year but there were still several very quiet days. Condensing a full day's driving into 15 minutes does tend to give the impression that it's action all the way but, as you know, it's not like that. All you can do is leave camp first thing every morning and trust that lady luck shows her hand.
Sjoe that was hot. I can't eat in those temps. I was stiff after the drive, my knees wouldn't work.
Yes it was hot but I was surprised at how well we coped. In a later video I mention that even one of the camp managers was compalining about how hot it was!
What a great start to your trip and beautifully filmed and interspersed with fantastic photos. We are already looking forward to the next episode. By the way which car did you choose for this trip?
Many thanks for your kind words. The car we 'chose' was a Hyundai Tucson but we ended up with a Toyota Corolla Cross which the agent at Tempest said was a 'better car'. It was perfectly okay and coped well with the Kgalagadi roads. We would have preferred a Fortuner but it was 3.5 times the price!
Awesome videos. Thank you for sharing? Can you tell us what video camera gear you use?
Many thanks. I have a video called Filming the Kruger & Kgalagadi which gives full details of the camera gear so please check that out.
Thank you for the response, we most certainly will.......We are planning a trip to see the Kgalagadi, and your videos have been an inspiration to us to start planning our next trip. Thank you visiting our beautifull country. @@oldcodgerwithacamera
