There is an Allikkottai near Thengumarahahada directly on the downside of Kodanad , Nilgiris just before Mayar River. When I was ADE (High Ways) Coonoor during 1972--75 we had been to that kottai (Fort). Myself, my Assistant Engineer Mr Muthu Samy , Road Inspector Mr Lio David, and Contacter Mr Pappusamy went down from Medanad Eestat to Thengumarahada and from there to the hilltop where the Fort is located. We saw the ruins of the Fort . The remains are the walls upto the ground level, the deried up water source for the Soldiers, and a well with water for the Royal family. We took water from the well , boiled and drank on the occasion. The well was a square one. Two walls were rock and other two were built with brick.

It’s Queen’s Fort, not Lily Fort. I mentioned Lily’s Fort earlier, but I’m not sure about that. I have already referred to it in the video as well.
