I've got the 46oz Capri, and it's nice. You get used to that weird handle. Also just picked up the Tekton 47oz. It has the gritty handle made by Trusty Cook. Both good tools for half the price of the tool truck.
I bought the Tekton version of this hammer. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but I’m looking forward to the time that I really get to smack something.
I have the trusty cook and snap-on versions. As you mentioned trusty cook supposedly makes the snap-on hammers. I like the grip on the snap-on version much better. To me it's more comfortable and easier to grip and hold onto. I use mine daily and they're really nice for sure.
Been swinging hammers for a good while now and can tell you my favorite is still the hickory handle. Not a fan of the metal ones at all but I do want one of these dead blow’s. Nice review and thank you for it.
Great video thanks brother. I have only used wood handles. I recommend with any hammer or impact using some type of padded gloves. They have them out there for you please use them. We older guys wish we would have. So I got off track just a little bit. I have dead blow hammers not ball peen. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother. Gloves are a key component with anything that has to do with impact.
The deadblow hammers, snap on makes their dead blow hammers now.Trusty Cook make the dead blow hammers for Mac,Matco,Carlyle and sk.Mac and Stanley have the antivibe hammers, there is a tuning fork built into the handle to absorb the vibration.
NICE HAMMERS TONY!! Did you know, you can order directly from trusty cooks site the USA made counter part for the same price or even less then what capri is selling a Taiwanese produced model. Then Nupla which matco and cornwell rebrand's as their lil 'BFH and the main 'BFH is less then half the price of what capri has. I have considered that deadblow from capri and have been close to buying it many times but I backed out because it was just as much as the USA made counterpart. The 2lb nupla deadblo I got recently was $25 and the 3lb mini sledge was $15 for a USA MADE HIGH END HAMMER. Hopefully Capri see's my comment and takes things into consideration tsincee fix their pricing is out of line when compared to their native counterpart... Trusty cook even lets you pick a color! =)

David Walle thank you. Will do 👍🏻
Quick question? Is the Matco dead blow 45oz the same as the trusty cook dead blow 45oz model 3?
when you shake that ball pein hammer, do you hear any stuff inside?? Or it's completely silence?
Hey Tony! Great video as always. Did your oil change on the Malibu video get taken down by chance!?
Thank you. Here is the link. ruclips.net/video/pJfUmoIVXOE/видео.html

Joachim Johan thank you!! 👍🏻
Not seeing price info in description. Is this a common method used on ball pien hammers or is this something relatively new?
Sorry I just rewatched the video. I must have spaced out for the first 30 seconds.
Trucker88 haha it’s all good 👍🏻
Just get a can of spray on bedliner for some grip on that handle.
