Arrow reminds me so much of my son! He is also a little speech delayed but he communicates the same way she does. I hope you see her improvements already I know I do! Sometimes it’s hard especially when you’re alone with her to always keep the speech train going but you are doing great ❤
My daughter was with her father for a few weeks and he had taken her to Florida another time. BOTH times I had imagined me dropping my bags and her crying, running to me. I got my hopes up and both times I was so disappointed and sad because I built up a scenario in my head that didn’t happen. I totally understand the bed thing ahaha. I love watching you videos!! I’m so excited to watch her grow and all the hacks you have 😇

I love this vlog so much! My son (who’s 1 1/2) has a speech delay and we are hopefully starting therapy soon. And I feel so bad honestly I have mom guilt like I could be doing more to have helped him more and I feel like I failed him. And seeing you be so open makes me feel less alone ❤️

Sign language is great I started when my baby was 6 months and I thought it’s not doing anything she started actually doing all the sign language in 10 months and it helps her in daycare to communicate with the teachers and I believe this helps her to talk non stop now she would tell stories ( she’s 2 ) Also these videos are great don’t stop doing them and you’re. A good mom

I love both DITL and week in our life videos! For new DITL I want to see the wednesday schedule (busy day of the week). I have 2 boys! My 4yr old goes to TK and has Jiujitsu every mon and wednesdays. My 1 yr old has gym class every Wednesday too (gymboree is the term I use) bc like you said most people think its a workout gym but its music, sensory, and social class too 😀 Wednesday is my busy day too. I can relate 😂

I have a pandemic baby too (Aug 2020) and he's also speech delayed although we haven't done therapy because it's very expensive where I live ($190/hr session). He's picking up more words though every week. My son is also raised in a single parent house (im a single mum by choice) and I often wondered if that didn't help much as there's less conversation happening. I love these videos of yours! keep them up.
My little girl hasn’t liked the stroller for some time now. What works for me is a toddler trike with the parent push handle. My girl loves it and is always happy to go out on her bike, will stay in happily the whole time we go out. Might be worth a try!

Hey girl I do my little ones hair while she sits on the counter in the bathroom with her feet in the sink. She likes to brush her teeth while I put it up. She is so distracted in the bathroom with the mirror and the teeth brushing she doesn't mind. I hope it works for you!
I would LOVE the video on speech therapy ♥️. Honestly brittany i work in a daycare with toddlers 12 months to 3 years, and A LOT of the kids are in speech therapy or the students do not speak as much as they technically should and i truly think its because they did not see a lot of different people due to the pandemic, talked about often at the daycare. So brittany your observation about others that age not speaking much has been so true with the littles ive been around
Yes, I’ve heard this from our pediatrician and the 2 different speech therapist we’ve seen. It definitely had an impact! I think I’ll have my speech video up last this month ❤

My kids have a little stammer so we are doing speech therapy and she recommends Comments not questions so trying to comment on things as opposed to asking too many questions so there is less pressure on them and they hear the language from me! Even commenting on what I’m doing not just them “ooh I’m going to use the red blocks” “oh look the dolly is sleepy/hungry” kind of thing or after they’ve been somewhere telling them what I did in their absence rather than bombarding them with too many questions! Also slowing down our pace of life, my rate of speech 😳😳 especially when talking to them (sort of trying to talk in the voice you use when trying to soothe them 😂) I know our speech issues are different but I’m from the uk so thought I’d share what I am learning too ❤
My 2yo also just wants to be carried everywhere outside. I succumbed to Insta ad targeting and got the Gooseket toddler carrier and it does the job! Love how teeny it is and helps a lot just going from one place to another. Was a total lifesaver for the lines at Disneyland!
It’s crazy hearing arrows little voice since I’ve been watching since i was pregnant with my daughter and you were pregnant with arrow😢 now they talk and have the cutest little voices!!
