I was genuinely impressed by the interior of this car, not crazy flashy, but looks comfortable and refined.
Does it have flash though?
@@ms3173 lol
I would buy this car any day over BMW , Audi, Mercedes which are ALL money pits.
Same here!!! This is my next car!!! I was thinking of getting the 18,19 model , but I’m going to get the 21. I love it!
I put 125k miles on my BMW with nothing more than routine maintenance. Owned a second one behind that. I've never had issues. I use good gas and keep the maintenance up...no different from any other decent car. I wouldn't buy one used...but that's more about my lack of trust in people, not the car.
Same here
Why can't lexus use their bullet proof 3.5 v6 with AWD
This will be my first car. Can't wait to get it. So attractive. For 51, 000 dollars - it's awesome.
The atomic silver you can see all the muscular lines plus it is a neutral color between silver and charcoal. 👌
Love the grille design
I think you should get the C8 and the TRX and then wait for 2021 because dodge might bring back the Charger/Challenger R/T AWD So that's what i think you still get a v8 with AWD and its still fun with enough power
This car is so sharp.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’m looking to purchase my first Lexus as a daily driver to replace my current 2012 Altima. I was considering the Nx300 because I want the luxury, reliability, longevity, the features, the awd and the fuel efficiency but Im not ready to give up sedans yet. Although I’m going for the luxury trim and it is a pretty penny i feel it’ll be worth it in the long run, hopefully I’ll have this by this time next year.
Did you get it?
How is the ride quality compared with the ES350?
In other words the car in right where it needs to be😂
I mean it's much nicer than a Camry. But with the same engine and transmission, I am glad I picked up a Camry XLE awd for 28k with panoramic sunroof.
It is a Camry
@@XX-166 and so?
@@kromahj and so remember that when buying price wise
@@XX-166 but with this price, I rather get the v6 Camry, both are the same car, just a little luxury .
@@kromahj exactly, why would you pay more for a name badge only. ?
Why do we need an AWD Lexus ES? Why can’t they just keep the GS
Depends on where you live
The ES sold significantly better than the GS, and they occupy the same market segment.
@@brbryyyyy94 fine, but Lexus better give car guys an ES-F, the reason I said give car guys is because I can’t drive
You don’t think you need AWD until you do.
@@XX-166 did not Think about that good point
Did I miss the front passenger cup holder?
8:58 did you miss it has Qi wireless charging system?
The 4 cylinder engine sounded pretty noisy, almost like a Subaru boxer engine during hard acceleration.
Off topic I REALLY HOPE YOU REVIEWD THAT GSF WHILE YOU WERE THERE!!!
Is the 200hp 4 cl a bad thing to get?
For the size of this car it might be a bit underpowered. I'd skip on the AWD for the V6.
I wish they opt'd for the LS roller temp buttons instead of the ones they put on the ES.
I compare this to camry 2.5 ! whichh one better ? price performance ?
Looks great in white - dependable motoring, albeit a little boring 👍
Nice review Ben!
Way better interior than the RX suvs
I’m laughing how people who buy the A4 over this just to think they look cool in a foreign car .
Do you live in Japan?
LOL
A lot of what you said was leather is not. The seating surfaces, the steering wheel and the shifter are leather.
That’s a luxury Camry that’s all
Agreed! I'd rather get an Avalon TRD.
It's a luxury Avalon, actually, same powertrain and body/size.
Exactly, it looks just like the new Camry
Awesome video, well done thanks
Is this car bigger than the IS LEXUS?
i love this a car
Great video has it got a spare tyre
This 4 cylinder is growly! It sounds like a camry, no thanks! I'd rather get the v6!
And it’s missing exhaust tips
Why didn’t Lexus used the Turbo four-cylinder from the NX? A premium car needs to have some get up and go.
I can agree
Turbos are not reliable. Don’t listen to people who have a turbo for 6 years. It gets really ugly after. Regular 4 cylinder is better. same with regular v6 vs turbo v6.
How much does it cost
Does it have an automatic folding mirror?
Yes
Does it support iOS car play?
Yes
Yes
The instrument cluster took forever to boot up after the engine started.
love the car but the gray headliner inside makes it look cheap. wish there was a black option
Do 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan sxt
Why didn't they just slap the awd Venza hybrid engine instead of this.
Not sure
Luxury car like this should have a button for the trunk to close as well. But other than that, its nice.
It does and if u put your foot under the trunk it automatic opens.
@@Desminique09 Oh lmao.... well how come he didnt do the demo. Anyways, I love it and Im thinking of getting one.
Good bro
I'd get this with a v6 . The inline 4 is underpowered
Really cool
These come with optional camera wing mirrors with interior displays, hilarious.
Great job.
Mpg please????
I like it but it's just "meh" compared to the Germans and Genesis. Sure it'll last 15+ years but I personally want a bit more from this car and I'll trade longevity if I have to.
No, I would rather save a few thousand dollars by buying an Avalon, which is the same car with more features at the Limited trim level.
Nice car! Nice community, which city is this ?
Salt lake
Nice car I like it
That startup chime is just awful
I despise that gauge cluster.
I prefer the Camrys 7inch mid to the Lexus gauge clusters
Why do reviewers rev the engine , it is so infantile IMO
4 cylinder luxury car
Only one cup holder up front.... not good
No touch screen yet...
My GS is much more attractive and provides way better luxury for my tastes.
Definitely more sporty, but this is more of a cruiser, and is much less expensive, so just different strokes for different folks!
i guess if your cup doesn't grow you can give it growth spurts lol funny.
The car is fine. It’s nice enough, but that’s the problem-it’s only just nice enough. It’s plain Jane, underpowered, and seems to compete poorly with everything else in the same class. Other than the wealthy elderly who don’t care what they drive, I can’t see who else would be the buyer for this. I predict the 250 will be very short lived.
A 200hp 4 cylinder? no thanks.
I went with the Acura TLX AWD tech after testing this. The HP in the Acura 4 cylinder is 272 with turbo. Great handling. I didn’t feel like i lost a lot of power from my v6. This car felt just like the Camry! I was going to get the IS f sport. It was too small interior wise! Im happy with my purchase.
53k that's bollocks!
Hello brother.
203hp does not compete in the class. 😑
May not get there the fastest, but you will get there😆
@@BenHardyCars 😂😂😂
How many HP you need to go to work or go buy groceries? I guess 700 HP. Maybe you should just buy a helicopter 😁😁😁
G80 > ES
I prefer the interior of hyundai sonata, that's more luxury and flashy to my eyes
No it’s not. It’s the worst luxury sedan on sale. It’s just a rebadged Camry with outdated tech and performance
A g80 will run circles around it. Seriously the es should be on a RWD platform or just don’t compete at all
