Erick served in arguably the most classified Tier 1 Unit in JSOC for over 20 years, not including his USMC time. Dude is a legend
His interview on the Team House is incredible.
@@dcdude81 I first heard his story on Combat Story which is a good podcast also
It's pretty much the least talked about tier 1 unit which is quite amazing in this social media oriented word where everything is public. His unit has managed to have VERY little out there about them which is pretty awesome.
What unit? Delta?
@@Dondada1001No, he served at the Ft. Belvoir SMU in Northern Virginia . Delta is the Ft. Bragg SMU at North Carolina
Man this is a gem. Two great people but specifically men talking about real life experience and willing to be mentors for others out there. I needed this thank you
Really solid interview! Erick supports alot of great veteran charities & definitely a good guy!
The ISA has always been of interest to me obviously theres not allot of info thanks Mike amazing guest
Such a great conversation! Great podcast guys!
I’m 28. I deleted all social media when I was 17 after having a large local following for the time, and for my age.
I began finding myself looking at life with the lens/perspective of what might look good to others on social media. I saw this as petty, fraudulent, and as a problem of ego, so I eliminated the source of the problem.
My peers thought that there was something wrong with me, and they essentially all treated me as if I no longer existed. I was no longer a part of the social landscape for my age group, so over a period of a year or less, I ended up losing every friend that I had, who obviously must not have been true friends to begin with.
My peers only wanted to associate with people who would further boost their status and their image on social media, and I no longer fit that criteria.
I’ve stayed without any social media since then.
So now, it’s been bizarre for me to witness not only other regular people like me, but now even various former SO/SF/Tier-1 guys who I look up to speaking towards the same types of problems, and come to the same kinds of conclusions about social media that I came to 11 years ago as a 17 year old.
Very few things are more valuable than peace of mind.
I want to delete social media too. Can you give me advice?? I want to delete FB and Instagram, but my problem is, I don't have much to do at home (apart from running, or gym) after that, there isn't much to do, so I fill time with social media. What did you do to fill all the hours of the day after deleting it.??
Quebola! Good to see my peeps from MIA. I think it’s cool that he rocked his MI regimental crest on his uniform. Remember intelligence drives operations. Great interview.
Intelligence Support Activity (ISA) also nicknamed The Activity, Grey Fox, or Task Force Orange. Basically the Army Special Operations (USASOC) NSA SIGNIT unit. You don't hear about them or guys coming out of that outfit (by design). Hear more Delta and Devgru guys on podcast and interviews than you will ISA, but those boys or just as important and critical in today's modern warfare. #Jakehunter88 great interview.
Thank you Sirs! Shared.
Great interview Mike! Thank you!
Thanks for listening
Need more of this
Wow. At first glance I thought Mike didn’t have toes and we were missing an epic story.
Glad they were just skin colored socks.
Great interview.
Exactly my thoughts as well 😅😮😂😂
Awesome podcast Erick. Send Me
Holy rusted metal batman was this an awesome podcast .
Erick is a cool dude
Sorry Silencer Central. I'm in CA.

"SEND ME"
Show the Audience the cap PLEASE.

Are they talking CAG/DELTA ??
or are talking a tier one unit within the SF groups??
They’re not. Also, pro gamer tip, no one in the community refers to the units as “tier 1.” Only Redditers & LARPers say that
They are others using the term here as well... ty for your feedback.
@@frankcuebas6689 yeah, they’re all nerds 🤓

If you saw this guy out in public, you’d never think he was CAG.
He wasn't cag. He was in several places but not there.
Great guy, he does alot for vet charities!
@@SemperFi_EDC_Guy he was delta, correct? So is CAG a specific subgroup within delta, and he was within a different subgroup than CAG?
@Internet Internet no. He was not delta. Delta is CAG is 1st SFOD-D, is the unit is several other names. Same unit. All different aliases for 1st SFOD-D.
Erick was something entirely different.
@@internet_internet The Unit that Erick was in had a heavy clandestine intelligence/surveillance aspect to it. Extraordinary technical capabilities and analytical thinkers. Alot of SOT-As, counter intelligence and high preforming linguistic folks come try out for this Organization. I’m not pitching that it’s the “best” Unit, it’s just very different from the other Units like Delta and Dev.
@@internet_internet Different Tier 1 organisation.
Does anyone know if Mike actually attended and passed sleection and OTC for CAG? He talks about going but never states if he passed or not. Im talking about being a 100% pledged operator at the Tier 1 level and NOT cif.
@@joesgotya9930 I dislike how Mike tries to wordplay it to make it seem like hes trying to hide something. Making it to SF is already a huge deal and i dont think he was ever really in CAG bc on his IG he calls himself a former Green beret and Shrek/ChrisVanSant/JaimeCaldwell call themselves ex unit guys.
Who cares?
Why do you ask this on every podcast?
@@Boom.gotcha Why do you care that i care?.
@@jasonmidiri6445 This is only my 2nd time asking. I would also like to hear different peoples opinion and insight to the question.
