Generally, fitteds are considered the best for containment under wool. However, through my experience I liked fitteds less over time. With my daughter she was born 5 lbs 13 oz, so even newborn fitted diapers were big on her and everything leaked out the leg holes, even pee. With my second baby I didn't like that many of the fitted daipers I tried (there is a separate review video on them) squeezed his legs too tight. My favorite fitted diapers at this point are from Spunky Rumps, since they are stretchy and gentle around the legs. I also prefer no closure with a Snappi to customize the fit, rather than snaps. 💜 Heidi
Did the newborn babee greens side snap fit under the umbilical stump? Im trying to decide what diaper I want to use when we bring our daughter home from the hospital. Shes due this halloween!
It doesn't sit under the umbilical cord stump. What I do is snap the legs tight and the waist a bit looser, so it can comfortably sit over the umbilical cord stump. Wool is breathable, so it's okay to go over. I have used the Babeegreens classic side snapping wool cover on two babies from birth, and it's my favorite! I show my son wearing it in this other video showing how the various wool covers fit him: ruclips.net/video/kVBSLhJN-oo/видео.html 💜 Heidi
Great review! Will for sure be picking up a couple babee greens side snap for our next baby! Did you end up skipping from newborn to medium? I’m thinking of starting in small. My babies are average size. 8.5 and 7.14.
I love the Babee Greens side snapping wool covers! My baby is wearing one right now. Yes, we went straight from newborn to medium. I show him wearing both sizes in the fit video. I think in your case starting from size small would be a good idea. I've heard from others who used small from birth. It's so fun planning a diaper stash! Here's the fit video: ruclips.net/video/kVBSLhJN-oo/видео.html
Magabi are made in Poland also and they are cute and comfy
Thanks for sharing! I never got the chance to try those.
Wow super helpful, ty!
Hi Heidi! I think you said in this video that you found fitteds better than prefolds for containment during the newborn stage, is that right?

@@ECpeesy Thank you!
Why do you orefer prefolds over wraps?
Prefolds are nice and simple. Easy to wash.
