    At :55 that looks similar to a cvn bull gear. I worked in the GE GEAR PLANT IN LYNN MASSACHUSETTS. We made US Navy gearing till the 80s. I was part ot the RD that made the new High Speed reduction gearing for the US Navy ARLEIGH BURKE class destroyers DDG 51. Myself and another guy machined the gearbox that every thing went into

    I was a machinist in the 80s when cnc took over manufacturing. I was trained by Fanuc (longtime spelt wrong ) back then machines did there own inspection. Also machines felt tool bit wear . When wear was felt the machine adjusted speed and feed. It also would automatically change to new tool and put old one in for replacement . If it was a long production run it would know how long each tool would run before change and know reduction speed and feed limits

    In the GE gear plant after a shipset was assembled. They would put it on a test stand and run it for days. Simulation of maneuvers a ship would do in critical times. You could hear high speed runs and stuff like that

    Если эти станки делают сверхточные детали то какая нужна точность чтобы сделать сам станок👍

    How much minimum energy required for turnening a TW turbine for electricity ??

    • @anthonybautista305
      @anthonybautista305 4 года назад

      Its depends on the size of the the turbine and its Kilowatt output, there are 3 types of turbine, the Francis, Kaplan and Pelton but the common type maybe is Francis. The 1kw turbine needs only a 1 meter head of water and a discharge of 200 liters per minute

      As if Germany would be the only country which ever started a war. And even back then it wasn't that simple, many countries contributed to the outbreaks of WW1 and WW2
