    I used to unload barges in Anacortes and Everett. Chasing tides all night long in a Komatsu WA450. The ramps left about 6 inches of clearance, each side.

    That's cute we have a barge here in Scotland with 24k ton of rock armour from grades 1-3t,10t, 16-18t and 25t each. All used for sea defence

      That's cool, we do that here too but not in this video obviously.

    6,000 tons = 12,000,000lbs.
    And there going to float that down the river... 🤯

    That's some big riprap! Like 500 or 1,000lb
    That's insane that barge holds that much, most I've seen loaded through gulf of Mexico is 1,800t

    I've been running yard loaders for 32 years and that's probably the worst stuff to load and work with

    funny...all I can think about is the thousands of gallons of diesel consumed here.

    • @dofficial21
      @dofficial21 2 года назад +1

      Think about the hundreds of thousands of gallons of diesel they save by transporting via water and not road

    • @markfryer9880
      @markfryer9880 2 года назад +1

      @@dofficial21 Not to mention all of the savings on damage to the roads from all of that truck traffic. Or if you used rail transport it would take you 60 gondolas with 100 tonnes each.

    J'avoue pas bien saisir !!🤔⁉️
    Il y a tellement de gens au chômage , ou qui traînent dans les rues ,
    États-Unis , que ça leur ferait du bien de travailler il suffit de leur mettre une brouette à une roue ou à deux roues et il serait plus efficace que le camion peut-être même que les chargeuses .
    À vous de stimuler le nombre de personnes pour charger la plate-forme maritime .
    Vous ne trouvez pas ça intéressant?
