Hello, awesome video. I am looking to put a Penta Carbon exhaust on my 2024 Hayabusa soon. However, you mentioned that you were eyeing another exhaust for your bike. What exhaust would that be? Also, did you have to replace the engine oil when you removed the oil cooler?
I grabbed a Penta carbon system for my 23 BUSA. I've been trying to research but opinions are all over the place. Did you install the pair block off plates that came with the system and if not have you had any issues?
I'm laughing at you but I went thru the same thing years ago putting a V & H sidewinder together for my kz1000. The pipe itself was a damn puzzle with all the curved pieces.
Update....In the process of trying to finish installing alien head on gen3. You aren't lying!...I've installed exhaust on my bikes since the early 80's. This was by far the hardest. Sooo much damn hardware..... Still can't figure out why when I get one bottom radiator bolt to connect to oil cooler the other one won't line-up. Did you have any problems like that?
That Pentacarbon looks awesome with that color combo. I've seen pictures of the black penta and wasn't a fan of it. The black ones just look cheap to me. Either way I think you should stick with this exhaust because I dont see any other exhaust topping the looks of this one. Unless you go TiWinder
Man you got me dieing over here laughing at you sweating like its 200deg and cursing that exhaust. Those brocks exhaust are known for being a pain to install if you dont oval out the header pipe a little before installing. I think it even says in the instructions to do it if needed. Either way cant wait for the first ride video to hear what it sound like under load
GAWD that thing is beyond gorgeous. I ordered the same color which should be here in January. Not sure why the white is so difficult to snag. I mean there's no limited edition yet. Anyways, hey partner, are u on lowering links in the rear? Also are u lowered in front too? Cuz I didn't see a strap on there. Or maybe you just took it off for the header install? Shit man my bad, I went ahead and watched the whole vid and seen you've got a triple tree on there lol. Damn I feel dumb now lol.
Ok I Took it to a shop and the left the 2 on I’m going to take it apart today and see what they did hop I can fix it. If you perhaps have pictures of the plugs where they go connected I’ll appreciate that
Removing the oil cooler in the beginning would have saved you some time and sweat but your not the first to try and fit one without removing it. The other issues though are just a show of Brocks poor product build quality. Glad it worked out for you but its a reason you only see brocks on drag race bikes or guys that dont know any better. Very low on the list for performance exhaust.
