The thing I love about this game is the variety. Depending on how I feel like playing that day there is a character for you. All the characters are fun to play amd I will enjoy lvling all of them. For the most part hulk is my favorite marvel character and it sucks he isn't a stronger character, more like hulk from the comic's but i still really enjoyed playing him, not to mention i love playing the tank in games. Just hope either they fix him or gear and build really just makes him the tank he can be. Either way I'm so looking forward to this game. I got the deluxe edition. Been looking forward to this game since I first heard about it last yr.

His rage/parry was non committed so you can pay and counter without interrupting your own combo. And if you misjudge and try to parry an unblockable you can still dodge it, unlike ironman and widow.
@@grimmcrag8715 Yea, I think people who think Hulk is weak in this game either played him at low level or skipped his overcharge mechanic skill and didn't really know how to properly use his rage(ideally you want to take no hits by dodge/parry and get the skill where overcharges rage does even more damage for I think was 20% more damage when overcharged on top of the 15% of rage for a total 35% if I remember right. In the comics Hulk is weaker when he isn't mad so if you play the game without harnessing his rage of course they would think he is weak. I watched so many ppl videos of playing hulk who forgot about most of his rage abilities and never used it almost at all let alone to parry.
Dude Hulk was a MONSTER in the Beta... I was playing Brutal and felt like Hulk could never die. Anyone saying he is weak just isn't playing the character properly. Seriously his Rage parry is the the best parry in the game, it's an AOE, and he can heal whenever he wants with rage... he heals better than Kamala. Ya'll are crazy
Odd, I Never died with Iron Man or Black Widow, Even though Ms Marvel felt like she went down easy I think I actually died with Hulk more. - His moves were so slow on build up that I'd get hit while attempting them.

Good thing is every character is really enjoyable. Which is very important because unless you play coop with other people, you will need to play at least 4 characters to be able to build AI team able to compete with foes who are getting stronger over time.
Every character has the same speed. She can't fly. This doesn't change her or anyone's conbat ability. She has power that is greater than all other characters. U noob P.s. Learn to dodge

I like all of them, but my favorite play style in online games is thief/rogue and samurai-type swordsmen. So Black Widow will most likely be my 1st main then until Hawkeye (if they add Ronin to his build).
Hulk is the tank class fighter, Miss Marvel is the balanced fighter, Black Widow is the fast and agile fighter, and Captain America is the defensive counter fighter.
Kamala is like the main character, explains why her gameplay is amazing. But still surprising how good Ms. Marvel and Black Widow gameplay is. They're my favorites in the game, including Iron Man.

Objectively I think Kamala is better on paper, since she is strong e ough in her own right as well as having the healing ability, but hulks ability to become completely invincible for 30 seconds with boneshaker and then having the skill ready to go again by the time it runs out is nothing to be sneezed at.
Hulk is an ult on his own. He has a lifesteal ability you forgot to mention. Hold R2 and he is more tanky and every attack he gets health back and he has different combos if you go with the grabbing tree, that’s where he really shines
Hulk is an absolute Green Goliath! You just need to be using his rage parry properly and messing with different gear perks as well as leveling to tweak his damge output. I was playing Brutal by the time I was level 7 power 30 with him. Can't wait to see his skill tree. He most likely has a sprint upgrade as well.
There is no worst. They all good in their own way. There is a best however. Thor and Hulk and Ms Marvel. Their ability to clear rooms with their aoes and the support potential of thor and ms marvel is nice. Hulk takes the strong enemies out of the fight entirely by just slamming them. Hulk is damn near invincible with proper rage management as well. Keep in mind with the addition of the other 2 skill trees the usefulness and potential of these characters will go up immensely. In hulks second tree his thunder clap damage goes up immensely. He has a skill where if u have full rage meter when u use it it does bonus dmg. Iron mans flight feels like anthem so it was fine for me. And some ppl on reddit were saying that black widow felt too strong cuz of her intrinsic meter. With full meter her dmg is nutty
The moment you levelling all the Avengers team rosters, there is a chance of opportunity to make them more powerful and stronger. By the way, one of my most favourite and strongest Avenger is Natasha Romanoff aka Natalia Alianovna Romanova aka Black Widow because she is way more super hasty fast and quick with the dodging as well as her own gun firing skills.
As much as Hulk sounds I don’t enjoy playing him. His skills don’t impress me. I enjoy Black Widow and Ms Marvel. I’m probably gonna enjoy cap America and Thor. Iron man is also fun as well but probably not gonna use him as much.
It's good to see so many people liking different characters and some having success, some not. I think it just shows that any of the characters it feels can be really good, given the right play style, perks, gear, ability. I think this game will be really good once we have some time to play it and figure out what works for each one.
I like everyone in this game but right now Kate Bishop is great if you want sheer damage so she is one of my favorites.If you want to get the battery effect going the easiest character to use is black widow.Get a piece of gear that adds pym particles to full auto with high intensity and use widows bite with taser dart modded and you will breeze through enemies.
What I find interesting is that nobody talks about the Hulk's counter the right trigger if you press it at the moment of any attack the Hulk will counter with a gamma explosion and it will immediately stun you and destroy your guard and it will increase your damage and give you a wheel Power Burst you can upgrade it and give it completely different perks but out of all the gameplay I have seen on The Hulk and people's review of him none of them mention his counter which is crazy because it's counter makes a huge difference and his combat if any enemy hits you and you successfully use that counter you dominate and you can continuously do it over and over again to the point you can literally be invincible and it always leaves them vulnerable so one hit counter has a huge payoff.
Arryx Theman I don't know why you'd think Hulk was the weakest character. When I played him he by far did the highest damage out of any character. Even his light attacks were much more damaging than Black Widows heavy attacks so that says something. Also, Hulk should be built with a lot of Might, not defense rating.
Black Widow, The Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, Kamala, Thooooor!, Aw screw it. I am going to play the hell out of every goddamn hero they introduce. But goddamn Natasha, the beat down is for real. I expect Daredevil to play a lot like her.
I thoroughly enjoyed Iron Man simply for the ability to go from grounded to aerial seamlessly. I loved Ms Marvel because she was great in dealing with crowds. And her polymorph ability was a nice touch. Black Widow was great and once I unlocked the full auto and her stun rate she was a takedown powerhouse. Hulk was difficult for me at first but learning to use his rage attacks more often definitely helped more. Although brief I cannot wait to get my hands on Thor and Cap fully. Overall I loved all the characters
I think with the Hulk it’s a case of them not trying to make him too overpowered, but in return to me during beta he actually felt underpowered it’s the fucking Hulk. He doesn’t have to be OP, but his base attacks should be just as strong if not stronger than other characters. Even the avengers always brag about having a Hulk gotta do him justice. When it comes to power
Haven't played it, but Black Widow looks like my favorite for sure. Ms. Marvel looks like a close second, though! Or maybe Thor. But definitely those three!
Hulk was my favorite to play. He felt awesome and I love the rumble with his walk/run. I felt like the hulk even though his ultimate was pretty lacking in damage. His survivability was insane for me as well. If I found myself taking a lot of damage, I'd easily regain health with his intristic ability. That defensive buff was nice as well.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on Hulk. If you use his rage properly, he's nearly unstoppable without the gear to go with it. With gear he goes from a best to a monster. His light attack combo can break shields. One or two heavy attacks to knock someone in the air is a free grab. I could go on.
This is just incredible how good they did to personnalise and bring a heroe so unique to play. Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses and feel way different when you switch heroe
I have a good basic understanding of all of the heroes so far. I found ironman the least fun at first but after leveling up he's a very good character. Ms Marvel and black widow were surprisingly good and easy to pick up with the biggest smooth comb's. I can't wait to try them all out in the actual game!
I was surprised to find that players gravitated towards different heroes, due to play styles I imagine. PLEASANTLY surprised. I found myself loving the damage and AoEs HULK had while my friend felt tons more comfortable with Ironman and his slightly more technical playstyle. Another friend didn't want anything to do ith Kamala Khan at the start of the BETA and by the end, he basically played JUST her. And when I wanted a small break from the HULK, again, Black Widow 1v1 gameplay + grapplehook was just the change I needed.
I only want to play as Hawkeye. Debating whether to wait for him, and see if there are any unfixable flaws or not. I think a Division format of bigger missions, and a free roam space would better suit this game.
Hulk is very decent to break aoe shields while you hold Triangle(also in air). His L1 and R2 are useful to improve your damage and mitigation damage which is perfect to tank. His grapple mechanic is fun a lot. Def one of my fav chars. But prob Im gonna be main Thor, cause his L1 is broken AF.
I do find myself dying a lot as Hulk. He feels very squishy early on, but I’m currently at 65 power and he’s starting to feel strong as hell. His ult is so underwhelming though.
Definitely not a fan of the Hulk; way too big of a target. Then you got Iron Man who seems way too technical for me. I haven’t gotten far enough in the game to play as Thor yet, but I remember playing as Cap in the beta and I loved him. Ms Marvel and Black Widow are currently my mains. Definitely think I like the more agile characters better. Makes me pumped for Black Panther; as if I wasn’t pumped enough already.
Why no one is appreciating Kamala Khan?? She's the main star and so humble yet so badass!! I guess most people who commented didn't play yet. I just finished playing this game and man Kamala Khan deserves to be in the Avengers Movie, she's that good.

Beta my main was Black Widow. When we get to play its gonna be Captian America. Dlc main may be Doc Strange or or Black Panther if they come to the game.

Woooohooooo! Wow!! Yeeeeessssss!!! Of course, all of the Marvel's finest and most heavy-hitters characters in this Most Anticipated and Must-play AAA Superhero blockbuster team-up video-game titled Marvel's Avengers.
I mainly focused Iron man and I found the rockets to be weaker. The repulsuers work well with combos and found that thy like the lasers were really powerful in combos and even range, probably how I structured my Iron Man
I'm still on the fence about buying the game, but if they add Falcon and Winter Soldier, it's a done deal for me. I'll main those two along with Cap and Black Widow.
i liked the combat and most of the heroes. only thing i didnt like too much is the length of those missions. at least the ones in the beta... 5 min literally.
another is issue is confusion between Gold Crates and Gold Strongboxes they look different in design(I know that now) but initially I didn't and since they're both gold when I got a challenge card for 15 strongboxes and it was all that was between me and the intergalactic armour it was frustrating as I wan't aware of the difference and assume it meant the regular gold crates you find everywhere but it didn't so I caused a ruckus thing the challenge card was bugged! So on that note i'm hoping that they fix that by changing the color of the regular gold crates to some other colour like red or green perhaps purple... because we already got silver, gold and blue and we don't need these crate to be gold cause they aren't that uncommon! on a sidenote the anticipation of getting the armour then not getting it till the last day helped me appreciate it more and intergalactic is arguably the best looking armor in the beta *So BITE ME* I felt underwhelmed by three of the of the skins which looked like recolours of the default game armour with no difference in actual design! Oh and i'm unimpressed with the lv40 legendary costume being an outfit which looks like a knockoff of nike jogging clothes i'd rather have the starktech ms.marvel suit as an end goal because it seems more worth it!
I’m team Ironman but I gotta admit pinning people with the hammer and then beating the crap out them is hilarious with Thor. I was pleasantly surprised with cap, his combat is fluid, his skills are great, but he doesn’t have the best traversal obviously.
Imo hulk really isn’t that good. You should feel insane power and speed when you play as hulk but you don’t. He doesn’t even jump that far. He jumps just as far as black widow. He should at least have a charge jump. Maybe even increase speed and power when you use rage.

I was doing a common damage of over 15k with hulks clap I feel we are on the opposite ends of the scales you weren’t so successful with hulk as I was and Vice versa with kamala that’s why I’m loving this game because my friends play with characters I struggle with and they play a way better kamala or black widow like one of my buds use black widow specifically for sniping and reviving I honestly cannot wait for this game to come out so I can put more damage on my hulk mama mia

Capt Rogers#1 , Thor#2, Hulk #3, Ironman, #4. Hawkeye#5....There are no worse characters...they are all good to play with just a certain preference.
Actually Black Widow isn't that bad with AOE damage. I built her around my Plasma Heavy Pistol. She can deal a lot of aoe damage with that build.

Just from the Beta I would say Hulk was the most fun, though they were all pretty cool.
I felt that the hulk got staggered and knocked down way too easily in the beta they need to give him more armor imo. He was fun though

Don’t forget you can also hold heavy attack while Black Widows intrinsic meter is full to go invisible as well. With invisibility comes all the perks.

I played Iron man for the entire duration of beta....he is way way more fun after unlocking Laser and Rocket skills from the skill tree !

What I find interesting is that nobody talks about the Hulk's counter the right trigger if you press it at the moment of any attack the Hulk will counter with a gamma explosion and it will immediately stun you and destroy your guard and it will increase your damage and give you a wheel Power Burst you can upgrade it and give it completely different perks but out of all the gameplay I have seen on The Hulk and people's review of him none of them mention his counter which is crazy because it's counter makes a huge difference and his combat if any enemy hits you and you successfully use that counter you dominate and you can continuously do it over and over again to the point you can literally be invincible and it always leaves them vulnerable so one hit counter has a huge payoff.

I don't know why you'd think Hulk was the weakest character. When I played him he by far did the highest damage out of any character. Even his light attacks were much more damaging than Black Widows heavy attacks so that says something. Also, Hulk should be built with a lot of Might, not defense rating.

I thoroughly enjoyed Iron Man simply for the ability to go from grounded to aerial seamlessly. I loved Ms Marvel because she was great in dealing with crowds. And her polymorph ability was a nice touch. Black Widow was great and once I unlocked the full auto and her stun rate she was a takedown powerhouse. Hulk was difficult for me at first but learning to use his rage attacks more often definitely helped more. Although brief I cannot wait to get my hands on Thor and Cap fully. Overall I loved all the characters
I think with the Hulk it’s a case of them not trying to make him too overpowered, but in return to me during beta he actually felt underpowered it’s the fucking Hulk. He doesn’t have to be OP, but his base attacks should be just as strong if not stronger than other characters. Even the avengers always brag about having a Hulk gotta do him justice. When it comes to power
Haven't played it, but Black Widow looks like my favorite for sure. Ms. Marvel looks like a close second, though! Or maybe Thor. But definitely those three!
I like how everyone in the comments likes there own super rather than clinging to just the basics like iron man and hulk.
That's what's great about this game: the variety. You can build each character however you want and they all play very differently from each other.
Hulk was my favorite to play. He felt awesome and I love the rumble with his walk/run. I felt like the hulk even though his ultimate was pretty lacking in damage. His survivability was insane for me as well. If I found myself taking a lot of damage, I'd easily regain health with his intristic ability. That defensive buff was nice as well.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on Hulk. If you use his rage properly, he's nearly unstoppable without the gear to go with it. With gear he goes from a best to a monster. His light attack combo can break shields. One or two heavy attacks to knock someone in the air is a free grab. I could go on.
This is just incredible how good they did to personnalise and bring a heroe so unique to play. Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses and feel way different when you switch heroe
I have a good basic understanding of all of the heroes so far. I found ironman the least fun at first but after leveling up he's a very good character. Ms Marvel and black widow were surprisingly good and easy to pick up with the biggest smooth comb's. I can't wait to try them all out in the actual game!
Black Widow got me hopeful a new punisher game may be possible but hell Winter Solider should be good

I was surprised to find that players gravitated towards different heroes, due to play styles I imagine. PLEASANTLY surprised. I found myself loving the damage and AoEs HULK had while my friend felt tons more comfortable with Ironman and his slightly more technical playstyle. Another friend didn't want anything to do ith Kamala Khan at the start of the BETA and by the end, he basically played JUST her. And when I wanted a small break from the HULK, again, Black Widow 1v1 gameplay + grapplehook was just the change I needed.
Black Widow was absolutely my favorite! Can’t wait to see her full skill trees! She’s everything I wanted in a character.
I only want to play as Hawkeye. Debating whether to wait for him, and see if there are any unfixable flaws or not. I think a Division format of bigger missions, and a free roam space would better suit this game.

Hulk is very decent to break aoe shields while you hold Triangle(also in air). His L1 and R2 are useful to improve your damage and mitigation damage which is perfect to tank. His grapple mechanic is fun a lot. Def one of my fav chars. But prob Im gonna be main Thor, cause his L1 is broken AF.
I do find myself dying a lot as Hulk. He feels very squishy early on, but I’m currently at 65 power and he’s starting to feel strong as hell. His ult is so underwhelming though.
That thor lightning ability also gives teammates invincibility. It is somehow both a support and damage ability at the same time.
Definitely not a fan of the Hulk; way too big of a target. Then you got Iron Man who seems way too technical for me.
I haven’t gotten far enough in the game to play as Thor yet, but I remember playing as Cap in the beta and I loved him.

Definitely think I like the more agile characters better. Makes me pumped for Black Panther; as if I wasn’t pumped enough already.
Why no one is appreciating Kamala Khan?? She's the main star and so humble yet so badass!! I guess most people who commented didn't play yet. I just finished playing this game and man Kamala Khan deserves to be in the Avengers Movie, she's that good.
I've had the most success and the most fun with Black Widow. She's fantastic.
Seeing as I will play them all eventually I'd rather make a priority list.

2. Thor/Iron Man (this decision is hard for no reason lol)

Kalama was a surprise but one I love playing.

Beta my main was Black Widow. When we get to play its gonna be Captian America. Dlc main may be Doc Strange or or Black Panther if they come to the game.
With just the 4 from the beta, mine would go Iron-Man, Black Widow, Ms Marvel, Hulk. Imo: Hulk is to slow atm.

I mainly focused Iron man and I found the rockets to be weaker. The repulsuers work well with combos and found that thy like the lasers were really powerful in combos and even range, probably how I structured my Iron Man
I seem to be more in control with Ironman. I barely get hit with him and this was at his first arrival in the game.

For me I liked Thor. But considering how much time we had with him My next Avenger that I liked being was Kamala Khan/Ironman.
I'm still on the fence about buying the game, but if they add Falcon and Winter Soldier, it's a done deal for me. I'll main those two along with Cap and Black Widow.
i liked the combat and most of the heroes. only thing i didnt like too much is the length of those missions. at least the ones in the beta... 5 min literally.
another is issue is confusion between Gold Crates and Gold Strongboxes they look different in design(I know that now) but initially I didn't and since they're both gold when I got a challenge card for 15 strongboxes and it was all that was between me and the intergalactic armour it was frustrating as I wan't aware of the difference and assume it meant the regular gold crates you find everywhere but it didn't so I caused a ruckus thing the challenge card was bugged!
So on that note i'm hoping that they fix that by changing the color of the regular gold crates to some other colour like red or green perhaps purple... because we already got silver, gold and blue and we don't need these crate to be gold cause they aren't that uncommon!
on a sidenote the anticipation of getting the armour then not getting it till the last day helped me appreciate it more and intergalactic is arguably the best looking armor in the beta *So BITE ME*
I felt underwhelmed by three of the of the skins which looked like recolours of the default game armour with no difference in actual design!
Oh and i'm unimpressed with the lv40 legendary costume being an outfit which looks like a knockoff of nike jogging clothes i'd rather have the starktech ms.marvel suit as an end goal because it seems more worth it!

I’m team Ironman but I gotta admit pinning people with the hammer and then beating the crap out them is hilarious with Thor. I was pleasantly surprised with cap, his combat is fluid, his skills are great, but he doesn’t have the best traversal obviously.
One problem with the Hulk is.. he doesn't have the thing called "the angry he becomes the more stronger he gets" thing for rage.

Imo hulk really isn’t that good. You should feel insane power and speed when you play as hulk but you don’t. He doesn’t even jump that far. He jumps just as far as black widow. He should at least have a charge jump. Maybe even increase speed and power when you use rage.
If you jump a second time after your inital jump, you get that hulk leap you're looking for.

I was doing a common damage of over 15k with hulks clap I feel we are on the opposite ends of the scales you weren’t so successful with hulk as I was and Vice versa with kamala that’s why I’m loving this game because my friends play with characters I struggle with and they play a way better kamala or black widow like one of my buds use black widow specifically for sniping and reviving I honestly cannot wait for this game to come out so I can put more damage on my hulk mama mia
