Hello! I’m not sure about a NZ citizen but for the UK I didn’t need a visa, just my passport. I recommend checking your government website for entry requirements for HK. Our whole trip cost just under 3000 HKD for two of us for two days including accommodation. We didn’t do any paid tourist attractions for if you plan to visit Disney or take cable cars etc then your budget would need to be higher. Also we tried to stay in a cheap Airbnb rather than a hotel to keep costs down and ate simple meals rather than at top restaurants to keep to our budget. We also walked everywhere or took the bus rather than taxis as that can increase your costs quickly. Over the next few weeks I will post a full itinerary video including all the costs of our trip. I think 1000HKD per person per day is a good amount of money, you may be able to save some money to splurge on a nice dinner on the last day but accommodation will be a big part of your budget. We only took 1000HKD as spending money for the two days and ran out on the last day (we had to have McDonald’s for dinner because it’s all we could afford hahaha).
Nice seeing you guys again, I can only imagine the pain and hardship that goes through to make there videos! Thanks for the video, and for your sacrifices, we appreciate it! ♥️👍
M & S for breakfast in Hong Kong, dear oh dear! Breakfast or brunch in Hong Kong are rice congee or dim sum. And pizza 🍕 in Hong Kong, dear oh dear! Hong Kong's Cantonese cuisine is a must when in the city, and yes, every lunch and every dinner. Very pleased to see lives in Hong Kong have returned to normal after those turbulent few years. Love your channel, always enjoy watching your videos.
Hahah I know it’s bad 😂 We eat dim sum and noodles and congee and Chinese food all the time in Shanghai and this day we were both really missing English (or western) food. Where we live in Shanghai we can’t order western food because we are too far out of the city so the pizza and M&S were a holiday treat for us. Don’t worry, the next travel vlogs we eat lots of local foods ❤️
Those neon lights at nighttime are always so cool to view! As much as I appreciate what they do to control the mosquito population, I probably would've gotten both spiders out of their webs with a rock then stepped on them lol. The fries you've shown in past videos always have looked so appetizing. This time, though, and for that price even with everything else included, I hope they tasted much better than they looked 😂
😂😂 These spiders were bigger than my hand, there’s no way I was going to get close enough to step on one hahaha. Enough to make me run in the other direction 😂
I'm from a Southeast Asian country. Do you like Southeast Asia? Have you ever been to Southeast Asian countries? Such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia
I have been to Thailand and Indonesia each once, and Singapore and Malaysia many times. I really love this part of the world. I haven’t been the the Philippines yet but home to go one day! ❤️
