I did note the spontaneity with their audience. But when Ruth spoke about having a clear head onstage to engage the eyes of audience members there I really grasped the chemistry of it.
I had his brother Fritz for College Level English at Contra Costa College. He's one of the toughest professors alive but his class was the only class where I learned about how the world actually worked through writing. He's always booming with political philosophies (hence the brief eyeroll from the sisters when they mentioned him.).
Seeing these ladies made the 80s fun and they were the anthem of fast times in a positive manner just partying safely but I know June had past drug issues early on in life
Do you happen to have that Garfield song they're talking about? I'd love to hear it......if its anything like the number song from Sesame street I know it's jamming..lol
There wardrobes was always copied by the girls in my town I lived at the time, I'd walk down town and see all the girls dressed like the Pointer Sisters, they don't get the credit they deserve for their trendy fashion statements.
I think June was so beautiful and she was very funny. Ms. June seems like she was very sweet. but, she had a lot of yes people around her. if she had just got away from all of those people. Started getting her a new team around her that didn't say yes to her all the time, when it came to her drug use she would still be alive. Miss June should have picked a different social crowd.

You can tell that Anita and June didn't want to talk about drugs ... Ruth touched on that when she was promoting her book. Very interesting.
I noticed that too.
Ruth was up front and I love her for that. Ruth is very beautiful I couldn’t stop looking at her.

@@orane3549 Never read the book, but sounds like is Ruth wrote some slander then. Definitely no reunion of Ruth, Anita and Bonnie anytime soon.

Well in addition that the poor lady was a gang raped at the age of 14 and suffers from bipolar I’m amazed she is very cheerful when she sings
Bonnie was also a big drug user.
Nice upload! 🔥
OMG, haven't seen this b4. Great interview of The Pointer Sisters! Loved them.
Cool to see this. Thanks :-)
They were energy to burn on stage. I'd think they did a lot of physical upkeep. Love em forever too

They laugh like Lucy.
I love Anita 🖤🖤🖤🖤

That what I say, it doesn't matter who like you black or white people as long as you get the money for the music!
Mrs. Anita doesn't seem like she ever did drugs, she sounds like she kept away from that type of lifestyle. She seems real level-headed.
Maybe she did a different drug. 😂
@@MyThoughtzAndOpinionz 👀 🧐 interesting
Correct Anita said she never used drugs
@@MyThoughtzAndOpinionz Such as?
