Caught my first jig fish yesterday thanks to you. I tied on a black and blue bitsy bug with a super chunk jr. I tied it on and just fished it until I caught one. Love your videos thanks
I need to do the same thing. Imagine if each time you want out you only brought one or two lure types and fished them till you had confidence in them. You’d then have confidence in all your tackle at some point
@Fatenarr I've been doing that more often lately. I bring a senko with me just in case I'm getting skunked. Also I bring a few different jig trailer options trying to figure out how each feels and what's getting bit.
:D Crazy coincidence... I have the exact same result driven preference to throw goldish bladebaits, while I practically do not use any other type of bait in golden varinats - not even any spinners... it simply does not work for me on my bodies of water with the exception of blades which only work with at least some gold coloring on them :D
I'm a crankbait freak man. You mentioned some solid choices of crankbaits, but that Shad Rap can be money. A few others that are good cold water crankbaits are the Bandit 200, Fat Free Shad fingerling, and the Norman's Deep Little N. I have caught good bags of bass as shallow as two feet cranking in the dead of winter, and on occasion burning the reel handle, but the burning is very rare.
I picked up a keitech 3/8 oz jig version 1 and it was the best jig I've ever used complete switched to all keitech jigs theyvwork way better then any other brand I've used
Thanks Tyler the information you put out on your channel helps up my fishing game ! Appreciate the work you put into your videos.

Blades and spoons to be exact... tohse are only baits in gold i use
Great tips! You should make a daiwa vs. Shimano baitcaster and spinning reel comparison

Can you give us a winter topwater bite video with your top lures if you have not already?
I love keitech
What color do you recommend in each of these For the delta and some lakes like don pedro and other lakes close to that .
I have forward facing eyes 👀 with no boat. 😅
The money badger gets it done!

Try burning a crankbait!!! You’re welcome.
@@562handsomemike fish will bite in cold water down to 35 degrees if you burn a crankbait.
Flatside or round body? Or doesn’t matter?
@@DanaRosasJr. always use a tight wobble --like a flat side. Rapala DT series is good Catching them here in Michigan in 38 degree water.
You only use a blade bait in gold color.
A blade bait is practically a rattle bait, might wanna try a gold rattle bait.
Why let the trailer hang on the finesse jig?
Gotta put the jig back in my hand. I’ve gotten away from it
👍

A old trick in the Ozarks is to weight a Shad Rap and crank it slow.
