Hi. Great interpretation and great sound too. Really very close to the original.
On this subject, would it be possible to have a little more information on your preset please.
    Thanks

Thanks mate! - I am using the Skyline setting with 100 watt stiff power section, and HRM mode is not engaged. To get the best articulation, clarity and detail out of the overdrive special, the gain stages should not be cranked up too high, and the same for the gain trimmer. I have the Gain trimmer set under 12 o clock, closer to 10 o'clock. The master gain is set just under 12 o clock. The pedal gain control is also about 10 o clock. EQ is just set to taste, however I took out some of the presence as it's a very bright pedal. The overdrive special has a LOT of gain. If you set the gain controls too high, it will just sound fizzy and far too overdriven for any clarity or articulation. I am using the D65 2x12 cab simulation on the pedal, and a touch of slap back delay from a plugin

I would also note that the pickups in the guitar are also extremely important. I am lucky to have a really nice set of PAF style pickups that have some nice harmonics going on. Alnico 2 magnet in the bridge. Alnico 5, I would stay away from. Always sounds sterile to me and doesn't have enough high end harmonics.

@@jamesemerson4102 Thank you very much for your valuable advice.

@@jamesemerson4102 Concerning the pickups, I currently have Alnico 2 handmade by a craftsman that sound very good. I will try Alnico 4 still handmade and I will compare. Concerning the Alnico 5 I completely agree with you.
Have a good day and thank you again.
