I love how you are noticing the poetic writing of Kubo, its truly one of his specialties and really does it throughout the ENTIRE show even in TYBW he still does his poems and slick writing. Hes the goat. BTW EVERYONE - This man is soooo ahead on his Patreon, get on that !
The moon on the water surface (Suigetsu) is a traditional metaphor in Japan to indicate something you can see but not touch because it’s not real. Another one with the same concept is flowers on the mirror (Kyoka).
21:39 renji bankai is 🔥 24:11 byakuya bankai GOOSEBUMPS! 24:29 the petals flashing before renji eyes 🔥🔥 28:48 ya once you get to tybw arc youll see each episode includes a poem from kubo at the end, afterall kubo is a masterful poet in Japan
Kenpachi just wants the smoke from everyone able to give him a good fight, gotta love him :D Meanwhile Byakuya has the best sounding "bankai" in the anime for sure, with the low tone and slight pause, it's a treat to the ears every time.
I would like to tell you to remember that part about Renji releasing Shikai without calling its name... There's one other character who will do this later down the line, but I've never once seen anyone point it out
Seeing Rukia's flashback again after today's TYBW episode sure is something
There are two types of battles... oof that hits right now
hits hard
Kubo is a master of storytelling and doesn't get enough credit
Renji is rich after this fight, that scarf alone cost like few mansions
The timing of this episode lmao
I was just thinking about that LOL

I love how simplistic Byakuya's Bankai is. Shikai? One blade becomes thousands. Bankai? There's just MORE of them. A WHOLE LOT.😂
Byakuya’s first use of bankai still remains my favorite display of bankai in all of bleach. It’s literally peak.
fyi, the Cookie you thought the big guy ate was actually a Rice Cracker, a popular Japanese snack.
The OST when Byakuya uses Bankai is perfect.
Yeah, it is poetic indeed. Kubo often writes poems at the end of the chapters.

Byakuya is if Kirsch Vermillion had Nozel Silva's personality. XD
Finally a Bleach thumbnail that wouldn’t spoil me to the ongoing cour lol.
Swear to God it's like Byakuya has a one liner for everything. That's why we call him One Bar Byakuya😂
