I just want to say a big thank you for this as the world need to know about autism. My daughter Lily mae was diagnosed with autism in 2022. It should not be a fight to get help and testing and to get them an EHCP. My daughter was out of school from 3 week in September 2023 to 9 days before end of term 2024 I think the hole system needs to be looked out. I still learning now with lily
When I was ask by the Dr at the hospital what do I think she has I said autism he said ban on the money. I cried not because I was sad but because I saw the struggle she will go through in life he ask why I was crying I said for her future. As my son says who we believe had adhd and odd he says I am a lioness who will do anything to help and protect her cubs. And he says I am a raptor from jurassic Park as I won't take no as an answer i will get the help for her and my other 2 beautiful children
I have learn so much from you and I found your channel just after lily got her autism diagnosed and I felt so low after I cried for days because I know the battle she would have to go through and now I'm fighting to get the older 2 now and I will be fighting for them now
My toddler is awaiting a CDC assessment for asd im honestly so worried they will say he’s fine or it’s all made up & myself, all the family & multiple professionals have got it all wrong. My son is very distant from everybody especially when he first meets them but after about 45 mins he quickly warms up & will interact in his own way I feel like this may go against him in the assessment or am I just being silly! For context myself & my husband to be are neuro divergent I’m diagnosed & my partner isn’t but our toddler is EXACTLY like his dad (my partner) I’m also getting very very suspicious of my baby he is showing so so many very early symptoms obviously it’s too early to really know but wouldn’t surprise me if in the future he too needs assessment x
