Congratulations on your float find! I actually found one of the original/real Japanese floats once in WA, and that one was about the size of a bowling ball. Also super cute sanderlings @4:27. We thought they were plovers at first, but alas
Wow, it’s so cool that you found an authentic Japanese float! They’re really rare. Thanks for letting us know those are sanderlings, too; we didn’t know what kind of bird they were. I agree that they’re really cute 🙂.
❤a beautiful glass float! ThankYou for sharing! Lincoln City, Oregon is one of the top beaches we enjoy. Always nice to get out of town to the beach! 🙂
Always easy to spot as you walk along the sandy beach, never buried deep in the logs or rocks, a small child or senior citizen can easily see and get to the floats the fairies place on the beautiful beaches of Lincoln City. Never give up looking! I've found two floats in the past few years. They're beautiful and a thrill to find. Glad you enjoyed your beach trip, you found a beauty!
Oh this was SO much fun to watch:) Did you guys find out if they hide them both in obvious spots and in hard to find spots? Seems like they might do a combination.
Thanks so much for your nice note, and I’m sorry for the slow reply! I bet there is a combination of difficulties, since there are many different volunteers who hide them, but I’d guess most are pretty obvious (the city says they want the floats to be found)!

The looks of joy and glee on your faces is priceless. :)
Thanks! We were sort of shocked that we actually found one.
I think it's just south of the SW 11th Drive beach access.

Siletz the i is pronounced in lower case
Thanks for letting me know! Do you mean it should be pronounced "Sill-etz" instead of "Sile-etz"?

If you look on the bottom of the float there is a number on it
Yes! Pretty cool to be able to trace the floats to the artists who made them.
Siletz is a short i like sill
I'll bring my golden retriever. She can find anything remotely looking like a ball
Haha, great idea! Good luck, and let us know if you find a float!
Rwow
My wife and I went looking for floats last week. All we found was a dead human body buried in the sand behind some driftwood.
Woah! I hope you’re joking?
@@AdventuresPNW most definitely not. Look up Lincoln city news for April 7.
Wow, I just did! That must have been terrifying!
People wearing there diapers.. lol
well it IS liberal Oregon. They'll wear their face diapers and get all the newest boosters like its a badge of honor.
I almost fell off of gods thumb once scariest moment of my life
Yikes, that would be terrifying!!
