Thanks for the video Man, that’s exactly what I was interested in to see if it was possible for me to use my portable jump box to run it lol, so thanks a lot for that I figured it would work cuz the 12v but wasn’t sure lol
I bought one of these throwers at the beginning of March 2020 and its paid for itself. My only advice is buy the wobbler base, it adds a whole new element to it and makes it that much more fun
I have the same CAT power station. I tested it with the same trap thrower, it functions but when I connect it, it starts beeping every 10 seconds. Did you have this same issue?
Well done. I noticed that this machine is 32 lbs. A couple of other similar Champion throwers that I'm looking at weigh in at around 50 lbs. Any idea why the big weight difference? Thanx.
I got it to work by simply starting the jumper and clamping the thrower directly on the jumper clamps. That being said, the jumper beeps constantly. Is this normal? Would love some pointers 🙏
Thanks for the reply, mine was beeping constantly as well but it's the everlast brand and the thrower wouldn't turn.I may just use a regular battery instead.
Thanks for the review! I'm headed to get this setup this weekend! Quick question, did you just clamp the starter clamps directly to the champion power clamps?
Theoretically no, a spring only wears down when it is compressed and released. If it’s under constant tension it shouldn’t degrade the spring. But if you plan on storing it for over a month you might as disassemble it
Just got this for Christmas. Your overview is great. Love the production quality.
I was really impressed with how far and fast this trap can throw clays.
With my wife trapping for me has been great for practicing crossers.
I purchased the remote system and it's awesome when by yourself!
nicely done, very informative! It's cool to know the target speed...... nice touch! I look forward to follow up vids
Thanks for the video! Well made and you covered a lot. I've been looking into this model and the video was helpful
I get mine tomorrow cant wait to try it out. Just started shooting clay, one day of using the hand held flinger and my shoulder said hell no.
this is a game changer!

@2:22 you mention a 50' pedal length option...Do know Where at? I cannot find one.
How did you hook up the electric exactly?
What do you use to clean up all your hulls?
Thank you. I appreciate you, man! 💪
Nicely done

Can this be setup to throw Clays on the ground to stimulate rabbits?
Will this item work with most car booster pack? What would I need to verify? Thank you!

Having the same issue.
Just wondering hiw you got the jumper to work on the the thrower?
I'm having a issue with this as well, any feedback would be appreciated 😊

Oh sure but I was actually asking @Eddy if he could tell us how he’s using the cat power station as a 12V haha
Bro did your barrel snap off yet?

Yup! Like and subscribe!
Wireless remote review coming next week!
@@edd Done and done, thanks!
Hey Eddy, was just wondering. Are you suppose to take off the main spring after your sessions or keep it on once the thrower is assembled?
Theoretically no, a spring only wears down when it is compressed and released. If it’s under constant tension it shouldn’t degrade the spring. But if you plan on storing it for over a month you might as disassemble it
@@edd can you buy a wireless remote for this model ( workhorse ) and is it easy to connect
@@williambush5469 yes you can, and it plugs into the same plug as the wired remote switch . I know because I just received my wireless switch.
@@loves2shoot thanks
Cool video- would like to get one. Can't help but think you are shooting in Capitol Forest in the State of Washington? Looks familiar.
