- A beautiful drive through the mountains outside of Vancouver, Canada shows just how far the 718 formula has come. It’s a tough act to follow, if Porsche actually plans on following it.

Larry do you have sofas or buckets? I’m trying to get a feel of how people like buckets and why they say they’re so important
@@LuiS-xo7qw I have had my Spyder now for 1 year and I did get the comfort seats vs. the carbon fiber bucket seats and I absolutely don't regret that decision. I don't track my car (and have no plans) so why be uncomfortable with seats that are rigid with little to no adjustments. Don't get me wrong, the racing seats look amazing. I guess it just comes down to what is important to you. I am 56 and a bit more comfort is higher on my priority list LOL. No matter what, this car is unbelievable and you will love it!
@@tfalklar I also went for the comfort seats vs the carbon fiber bucket seats which are difficult to get in and out of. I also don't like that the sport seats have almost no adjustment and lock you into a posture I find uncomfortable. The car is amazing especially with the awesome pdk. I am also 56 lol.

Love the classic Heuer jacket. I have one on order a FULLY LOADED 2022 and I plan on having a Tag Monaco classic wristwatch on my left hand when I pick it up.

I love the Gentian Blue with Satin Platinum wheels. The rear diffuser on the Spyder looks super sick too, much better than the more basic one on the lower end models. If I got the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 I would swap out the stock diffuser with the stock Spyder / GT4 diffuser. It should work since the exhaust is in the same place.
Gloves are perfect with the alcantara. Most people would not wear them and would have to replace the steering wheel and stick shift more often. I Ould not have alcantara on the steering wheel or stick.

Will you please comment on how your ride was with the sofa seats? Some people say don’t bother car getting this car without bucket seats. Have you tried bucket seats Dan?
I have the 2020 Spyder and love it except for two things, the terrible convertible roof and no memory seats. Other then that it's perfect.
Have been driving my new 4.0 gts which is similar. Crazy performance.
My 981 Spyder is similar as well! Lol.
The car is overengineered, especially the top. Prefer something a lot simpler to drive.
Buy the Boxster then…
