The ambient sound is incredible. When the perspectives change the sound follows and you can hear so much minute detail. However you do it, it's beyond anything else I've experienced in flight sim videos. Thank you for this effort!
Having taken many flights from LAX, SJC and SFO to PVG and back over the years, this video gives me a quite nostalgic feeling, haha. Thanks for uploading! Taxiing after landing at PVG usually takes a toll on one's mental health with all the traffic and holdups, literally. Glad to see a smooth ride to the gate in the game.
When some future technology comes along in 100-200 years, people will look back fondly at the era of commercial air travel and we're lucky to live through it. So fascinating.
If u guys know Chinese, jump to 19:36, u can clearly hear"中华航空“, and that was from Taiwan. But the game use "Air China" which is from China mainland, so here is the radio mistake.Although they are all Chinese, still little difference between them.
One of the best MSFS videos I have ever seen, and I watch a lot of them. I love flying the 747. I only wish I had your talent for capturing my flights.
I have only been able to fly once on a 747-400. Back in the early 90's I had a lot of business in Germany and Europe. Most of the time is was a DC-10 or L1011. But once I got a business class seat on a Northwest 747-400 from Detroit Metro to Amsterdam. I was in the hump on the second deck. The seats were like Lazy-Boy recliners. Champaign on the ground, hot towels once an hour in the air, the food was amazing for an airline. I had lox and bagels for a snack that was as good as I have ever had. I think the company paid like $9,000 for the ticket, but it was worth every penny. Probably not for them, but I didn't care.
Fantastic flight! I just want to point out a minor imperfection; the voiceover from the flight attendant at 19:09 said China Airlines rather than Air China
This was amazing!!! Sir this was great work, loved it!! I have MSFS 2020 also and love it....also I'm very excited to see that your running the same cpu that i have in my rig!
I have MSFS 2020 on Xbox series S and it’s truly amazing. Almost unnoticeable 1440p graphics that upscale if your monitor or TV allows it. I just hope Microsoft starts selling the cabin chat on the marketplace soon. They are doing amazing work with top notch 3rd party add on airports and various liveries for the A320neo. Just love this flight sim so much. It feels so real! Amazing work in your video quality. Keep up the great work. How do you get so many window shots from port and starboard wings? Mine only allows 2 inside angles.
Great work! Evening lighting for the landing is spectacular! Thinking I should move up to the big stuff! Subscribers are few and far between flying the GA stuff!
For graphics I really just use Nvidia Freestyle with my msfs graphics mostly on high settings. Ai traffic is AIG traffic. I'm using the salty 747 mod for the default 747-8. Airports: secure.simmarket.com/wf-scenery-studio-shanghai-pudong-international-airport-zspd-msfs.phtml feelthere.com/shop/msfs2020/klax-los-angeles-international-airport-microsoft-flight-simulator/ :)
So, my comment is really a question to the Microsoft Flight Simulator experts here: I was a young boy, when I played one of the first Microsoft Flight Simulators, I think at the time the only cool plane to use was a Learjet. Anyway, I am blown away when I see this video now and the possibilities this simulator offers. This is amazing. My question is whether you see the possibility to attend these sorts of „live“ flights under real weather and real air traffic conditions as a passenger in this parallel aviation world? I just don’t see myself learning to fly a 747-8. But maybe I can build a passenger Avatar of my own as a parallel simulation in this simulator, who sits in the cabin for a 15 hour flight and is allowed to sit in the cockpit at times (definitely for takeoff and landing) and get to know the pilots, other passengers and cabin crew on this flight? What if this Avatar passenger can collect airmiles in this parallel aviation world and with those airmiles I can stay at real cool and fancy hotels at the destination, may be even the same hotel the pilots and cabin crew stay at. I can also buy real fancy virtual travel accessories from TUMI or Travelpro and gain access to virtual top tear airline lounges (virtually built, based on real world current lounge specs, and tarmac view based on the live simulation of the virtual flight). I could watch real movies in my virtual seat during those 15 hours and ask for the Asian food option (while I order real Asian food from my local Asian delivery service) and then create the meal virtually for the next virtual business class passenger to chose from at this airline (creating the menu would be sort of a simulation experience for me). I could also sleep (in my real bed) for a good portion of those 15 hours, while also the three (Flight Simulator operator) pilots of this flight rotate into crew rests (their real beds). I could simulate (as a virtual passenger) something that would involve the pilots’ (medical incident or I would get terribly drunk - NOT). What if other “real people” want to be cabin crew for such a flight and attend to me (virtually) - of course they would have to train for live safety instructions and be prepared to evacuate me if the airplane lands on the Hudson River - NOT!). I am sure many here think this would be the most boring thing to “simulate”, being a passenger, but trust me it has not been for me in the real world, clocking in some 500.000 actual airmiles flown as a passenger and looking for ways to explore the planet again, without destroying it, with a near zero CO2 impact. What I regret most, looking back, I was always an “aisle seater”, because I did not want to bother other pax climbing over them - as a result I barely looked out of the window, when flying, what a shame, I wish I did - what if I can re-fly all those flights as a passenger virtually and look out of the (virtual) window this time and see this beautiful planet from above in real time and real weather conditions? Could all (or parts of it) happen on virtual reality glasses? My entire (virtual) trip, from my house (picked up virtually from a cap), seeing all the other Avatars of the flight all the way to my dream destination? And then I could also do “real” work on my virtual (real) laptop when I sit in the simulation flight. I know this would involve a lot of third-party programming (and Mark Zuckerberg?), but I would definitely pay for this and start earning near zero emissions airmiles towards my virtual green frequent flyer status. What do you think? PS: There is a bunch of RUclips channels with juge fan bases, that do exactly what I described above in the real world, reducing travel to just the cabin and airport lounge experience of a flight (i.e. @Josh Cahill, @Sam Chui, @YourTravel.TV or @Nonstop Dan).
Hey MajorTom another amazing vid!!!!!!!!! Love it!!! By the way the links you provided in the description don't work. They only take us to your main youtube page :)
The one thing. Aside from ultra graphics. That Xbox needs is the realistic air traffic of seeing other actual airplanes going to the runway and taking off.
Really good work. Has a lot of style and artsy-looking. The colors and the sounds are so good. You should do a Cathay Pacific flight from LA to Hong Kong! Nostalgic for me!
I am new you channel !! Just awesome graphics with excellent Flying skill but one think I have missed that "commentry". That I have missed.. please do commentry in next time.... Thank you ❣️!! Love from India ❤️❤️ Kolkata, West Bengal 🙏
Really like your videos! Keep up the good work! Was just wondering what the winds were on takeoff? LAX rarely takes off to the east outside of very late night/early morning ops for noise abatement, so otherwise winds have to be pretty strong out of the east to justify it 😊
You did good, one small detail though: You took off on the wrong side of LAX. Planes usually take off on the east end, so it should have been Runway 25R.
Hello, all your videos are brilliant. I wanted to know how you get all of those shots, specifically the indoor shot looking out into the wing. And also do you film all of the shots separately and then edit them together or do you have a way of replaying flights and being able to switch camera during the replay? Any info will help, thanks!
The graphics are amazing, and the ATC chat and the flight attendants giving instructions make it so much more realistic! Keep up the great work! 👍
That's why it's z best games

That descent lighting was surreal, looked like flying into a sci-fi movie! Amazing video as always
One hour of watching . But not even single boring moment . Wonderful video ❤️🔥

The sound of the cabin announcement is so real and exactly the same as what I listened to when I flew with Air China.
Are you sure the Airchina pilots speak English like that?

Your poor plane actually survived the flight. Well done! It did not die :)
I'm new to this sim and it happened i bumped on your channel, watched every single video, super realistic and helpful, thanks man

Fascinating!!! Does the game come with some of those planes already or do you have to download specific airlines like with the FSX?
