Tbilisi is a horrifically underrated city!
@Skyblue Aviation the whole country is underrated. IMO Tbilisi is great but Batumi is even more beautiful. Plus there are 5 different climate zones in such a small country from 5.500 metres tall mountains to the subtropical zone on Black Sea around Batumi.

@@davidellis4031 Because they're OLD haha, I flew on the AC E-190 and it was the same thing, but the IFE was old and was like a Windows XP touchscreen haha. the USB worked and I found the legroom to be great and the seat itself was very comfortable

The Embraer has to be one of my favorite aircraft. Virgin Australia used to have a few of the 190 and 180 but no more on the busy routes!! Enjoyed hearing the Captain speaking as well!!

Gamarjoba Sakartvelo. I was last summer in Georgia and recommended everyone in Germany to travel too. I just visited Tbilisi and Batumi but next time Church Jvari, Kazbegi,Rabiati, Kvariati and maybe Svaneti.

Thats our moto: get rid of everything connected to being "soviet country" :)) you can't change past, so the "former" thing can't go away (I wish it did:)).

Shocking news about Georgian Airways, they changed there policy regarding people with an disability. My aunt is visiting us. She came by plane and she is elderly woman and she has worn knees and ankles and can hardly walk anymore. So we requested assistance from the airline. So to get assistance you have to pay an extra €100 per flight and this is just for a staff member to walk you with a wheel chair to the plane. So for a round trip it is €200 and if you have a transfer it’s €400. In other words, you will be severely discriminated if you are disabled at Georgian Airways. Also, she was treated like old dirt by the staff. Someone at Georgian Airlines thought letting people with a disability pay for assistance is good idea.

I am so glad to see you have visited my home country. I have never flown Georgian Airways as it is always more expensive to fly directly from Tbilisi to the EU countries than having connecting flight at Istanbul Sabiha airport (Fly Pegasus). Sometimes it is even cheaper to fly Turkish Airlines or AirBaltic, than purchasing Georgian Airways ticket. I'd really love to try them one day in the future. The on-board service seems to be decent.

I like to travel by gerogian airlines and also British airlines.
I flew with Georgian Airways from LGW-TBS. I looked at the reviews and was expecting a real bad flight with rude staff. When I flew on it, it was actually alright. Staff were pretty friendly and the food wasn't so bad too.

Kenya Airways also got IFE screens in their E-190, they worked super well when I flew with them! :)
Flight Mode Couple AZUL Brazilian Airlines also have IFE’s on their E190/195
The plane shown in this video has an incredibly similar interior to the ones operated by Azul Brazilian Airlines on domestic flights within Brazil and all their Embrairs E-190 and E-195 have working IFEs with live TV and flight maps

Michael 2k3d They aren’t dirty, as captain said it was -50 degrees C (even lower) outside the aircraft, so they were frozen at that time :)

They're getting 5 new E190-2s this year and as I know, will be adding flights to Vilnius, Ufa, Madrid and Scandinavian capitals.
Sadly no Georgian Airways flights to Munich. Georgians have to keep in mind that most western tourists are from Germany. Well I am Ukrainian but live near Munich in Germany. I was last June in Sakartvelo and plan tot travel this summer again.
@@Andrij_Kozak Lufthansa flies 8 times per week from Munich. New Georgian startup Myway airlines also plans Munich services. Plus there are Wizzair flights from Memmingen to Kutaisi, thus I think that Munich is well served at this point.
@@BekaKakabadze MyWay Airlines would be a good option. I guess Munich-Tbilisi-Munich flight would cost 200 € with this low cost Airline.
