Even as a PIO, but having been born and raised in the west, I find my time in India to be very challenging due to a large cultural difference and will often find myself to be very frustrated. I’ve also had white friends whose parents follow the Sikh religion and therefore they were raised in India, however they did not have the most positive reflections on their time there, I hope your children have much different and more positive experiences than my non-Indian friends who are raised in India.
