Best review I have seen on this comparing! I loved how the maxpider looks, but you showed how much better the coverage was on the tesmanian. Mahalo nui loa!
The 3D mats look good except for the tacky logo. Strange, all the trunk / frunk mats have a much more acceptable integrated logo. Perhaps one day they will update the floor mats with this better logo implementation.
I like the tesmanian and I got them. They are easy to clean. I found the teslarati are hard to clean (especially with salt and debris). We get a lot of snow so the the higher walls of the tesmanian are helpful.
Good job on comparison. Here in Montreal, I feel that we actually need both sets. Tasmanian for winter and easy to wash and ose and the 3d for rest of the year for clean look
I just ordered the tasmanian, the fact that the Front mats goes under the seat more, was the Sale point for me. thanks for The 10% OFF .appreciate. great video as always
Wow! This is an absolute FANTASTIC review! I just subscribed to your channel. I got a different brand I’m reviewing and I know people always talk about these two mats so I wanted to see what they look like. Your close up shots were absolutely perfect. Would you mind if I link this video in my description for mine and tell people to check out your video if they are interested in these two brands? I won’t use any footage of your video I will just link it and refer to some things I saw in it. Seriously great job! I don’t usually watch RUclips, I just make videos but I’m glad I stumbled across this video.
Tuxmat are superior in every way to all the other fitted mats; nicer material and higher all away around especially for those in snow regions and better fit and finish of the product. I have had Weathertech in my previous cars and never again, sometimes the fit is not good, the rear mats are made cheaply and perhaps my biggest complaint is that they get scuffed/scratched up really easily and the dirt gets imbedded into the mat and you never can get it cleaned no matter how hard you clean them. After a couple of years of use the Weathertech's look awful, and perpetually dirty looking.
@@ItsBinhRepaired You're lucky they stopped making them for my car and I have a 4 year old car. I've also heard they velcro and hooks are a real PITA to remove when you want to take them out. I think i'm going with the 3D MAXpider's
These Tesmanian ones very nice, I like that they retain the same pattern on all the mats. I realize they're easy to clean but do they scratch easily? Thank you!
I am planning to replace the included Tesla floor mats. Best comparison review between Tesmanian and 3DMax. The 3DMax has premium look but the Tesmanian has better fit and easier to clean. I do not like the 3D logo, it makes them look cheap. I will pick up the Tesmanian without knowing the price different between the two.
Thank you very much for doing this review. It is exactly what I am looking for! I’m try to get stuff for the car before delivery so that I will be ready. I like tesmanian more
Man i was on the 3d brand mats back in 2016 for my Lexus IS. I wanted a rubberized mat but thats is not heavy like the ones in trucks. Cant believe its tesla preferred mats now.
Those spots that don't contour properly, you can have a rhino sit on it for 100 years and they will never seat properly. Thank you for the review though Chris. 👍
@@handydadtv Not all trims of Tesla is considered premium. Model 3 RWD is more like an overpriced Corolla with the EV label. On top of it the Covid material shortage jacks up the price.
Do NOT buy the Tesmanian mats. I put in an order well over a month ago for a February 28th anticipated shipment date... after multiple emails (which they take several days to respond to and there is no phone number available), they punted the date to March 15th. It's now the 27th and I still have NO indication they have any intention of actually filling the order since they don't respond to emails. I'm actually debating telling Chase it's a fradulent charge. Do yourself a favor and look esewhere for mats. It's not worth the trouble!!!

I like that this guy uses good enough lighting to see something. Other like videos too often don't.
Thanks. I try.
I liked your honest review of two competing accessories. I love how you gave away the one you didn't want to keep and didn't change anymore for them.
Thanks. Appreciate it. 😊
You know you’re watching a good RUclipsr when you watch a video about Tesla car mats and you don’t own a Tesla...
Wow I’ll take that compliment! Thanks! 😊

Good to know. Thanks.
That's actually a good point. I have the teslarati in my M3 and the tesmanian in my wife's MY. The tesmanian are definitely easier to clean.
Hey HandyDad! You’re awesome. I’m glad to have another great dad who can teach me all I need to know about everything handy!
Aww thanks. Glad to have you too!
I was not prepared for how LIT that intro music was
Thanks

All things considered, the Tasmanian floor covers are the most 'bang-4-the-buck' of the two.
True

I never heard anyone complain of scratching.
Great review! Model Y just arriving in the UK now so we are all look0ing at these products. Thank you.
Enjoy it!
that's what im looking for. an honest review telling us what to get,,,, from someone who could read a map if needed

You really should compare the price too. Tesmanian is a bargain comparatively.

Great choice! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What are you doing for charging? ruclips.net/video/XNOnVxI0tvk/видео.html
Thanks nice comparison
Glad it was helpful 👍🏻
I think youre suppose to let your Tesmanian mats sit out for 24 hours before installation
They soften in the heat of the car too.
Thank you! Very helpful!
My pleasure
Have you done anything to protect that back door and panel from road crap flying on it? Tesla has mudflaps and PPF on their site.
Not yet
Thanks for the thorough review!

I believe that spot for your left foot is called a "deadman pedal"
Really? I never heard that term.
@@handydadtv It's because it's actually called dead pedal - naming it deadman pedal would be quite cryptic.
Thank you! This helped with my decision!!
Which did you go with?
@@handydadtv 3D!!! For sure!
Darn You…..You cost me $$$Hundreds$$$. Had to have the 3D for the MSP 🤣🤣🤣😝 Great video👍
Worth it 💯
I have had the 3D mats over 2 years and have help up quite well.
Thanks. Glad to hear.

how do these compare to the Tesla all weather liners (weathertech)?
I only compared Teslarati and Tesmanian.
@@handydadtv thanks! Think I'm going with the MAXpider
Maxpider looks so much better. Both are easy to clean.
True
Am I to late for the Mats??
Yes sorry
Nice detailed comparison. Thanks ! I recently got Model Y and looking forward to Floor mats. I would take it if you still have spare Tesmanian one 🙂
It’s gone but I saw they had a 10% off coupon. Brought the price down to $117!

Any floor mats under 100$ Most floor mat I see are like 200$
Tesmanian are the cheapest I’ve seen that fit well.

No. Hundreds of people agree with you.
Not sure I like either of them tbh. Great review though.
As info, the Tesmanian’s are far more popular based on link clicks.
The 3D are much nicer. Looks more classy
Definitely. Unless you’re on a tight budget, they are the nicest.
It’s also like 570 vs 240, over double in price
@Starrynova True, but you could have bought a cheaper car too. But you went for the premium car.
