Potara Fusion doesn't have a time limit! It only wore off inside of Majin Buu so that he wouldn't be completely absorbed as his body recognizes Vegito being absorbed, not Goku and Vegeta
i think the only way to stop the potara's fusion was... dying or in buu's stomach, even the suprem kaio say that potara's fusion can't revert, taking that away is a nice vid :D amazing broly SSJ 3
Potara fusion is supposed to be forever and ever and ever...(well,you know what i mean) They got un-fusioned cuz they were absorbed by Boo and it kinda saved them from being absorbed forever and not being able to escape

@Dragon25k Ok, I'll explain. Broly was in a coma, frozen solid, for 7 years. Broly has POTENTIAL to be stronger than an ssj3 (only do to his constantly growing power when in LSSJ). And the three ssj1's victory was thanks to trunks, who stopped Broly from powering up his attack even further.

@10Altiar01 no, first off just because they were ssj1 doesn't mean they had the same power. Second the elder kai described it as the "perfect" fusion as opposed to the fusion dance which would actually multiply their power, so with the ear rings they're stronger than an ssj2.
It seems to me that people like him prefer SSJ3 to own people rather than fusion. Everything was fine up until to point where Vegito defused due to how they fused in the first place. If you wanted them to seperate later you should have fused them via the dance, not earings. Also Fusion is stronger than a standalone SSJ1, 2, 3, whatever level he is (Unless he's a very well trained SSJ4). I would have made Vegito (SSJ2 because he should be at this point) defeat Broly, not this way.
