Not to mention, Daigo started respecting him as more of an adult in 0, whole substory dedicated to that.

The man he loves comes back after 4 years, only to drop the news that he's going to die and is off to one last battle that will take out the Yakuza as a whole, and all he can do is sit back and watch. Majima just gutted that this truly might be the last time he will ever see Kiryu.
He sounds so desperate. Like he’s trying to cling on to Kiryu so he won’t go. Even in that brief moment, it shows how much Majima genuinely cares about him. He can’t stomach the thought of someone who’s been one of his few true friends, dying. Especially with there seemingly being nothing he can do about it.

Saejima spent most of his life in prison while the yakuza was still in power and could make him rich and now he's finally free and the yakuza dissolved leaving him broke and living in worse conditions than he lived in prison ☠
seeing zhao and nanba so smoothly stand up against daigo and majima in the mid fight scene is so awesome when you remember that the two of them were part of the group that could barely make majima and saejima break a sweat just four years prior. like a lot of the time you can say "oh its because they had kiryu on their side thats why they did so much better" but kiryu was on the floor that time, that was all those two. they've just grown into their roles as the heroes of tomorrow since the last fight.
Majima at 32:45 : serious about to stab Kiryu right onto his head (or maybe not, since he can stop his movement right before he about to reach) Majima at 50:43 : desperately wanting Kiryu to stay with them
Considering all the non final boss fights in the franchise, this has to my favorite. Kiryu having a mechanic that allows him to bypass the turn based system in a turn based JRPG is the second best thing we could've gotten(single best option being LAD Gaiden's combat getting copy pasted into infinite wealth for all of kiryu's segments) but the fact that Majima, Daigo and Saejima have their own counterparts to Dragon's resurgence which allows you to fight them one on one with their themes from Yakuza 4 in the background in addition to the collage of Kiryu's memories of them easily takes the cake. It's bittersweet, but infinite wealth is undoubtedly the best sendoff Kiryu could've gotten, and I'm truly fortunate to have experienced it.

It is just a shame Kiryu feels so much guilt about the pain he has caused that he never really stops to realize how many more lives he has saved since. But as I say that, in this very video he is saving his friends once again from themselves by reminding them of what they can do.
That's what the bucket list shows. Kiryu has undoubtedly started to see all his actions in a negative light, however as Date keeps hammering at him, he saved more lives than he ruined, and you could say that if he wasn't there, things would've gone way worse.

Best fight in the entire game hands down. Ost slaps and seeing kiryu have one last duel with the Tojo legends was epic. Couldn’t help but feel emotional when the brawler section kicked in during daigo’s turn with for face playing in the background 😭 really reminded me that I had been playing these games trying to catch up since 2020 and it’s been one hell of a ride.
i really love the action sequence of all 3 legends attacking kiryu and the whole party comes to defend him majima attacks kiryu but zhao appears just in time to deflect his knife Saejima attacks kiryu but seonhee appears and counter's saejima before he could hit kiryu Daigo attacks Kiryu but Nanba appears to defend kiryu and fend off daigo Saeko appears to give kiryu support and helps him get back on his feet and continue fighting
I low key wish Kiryu got to have a resurgence duel with [spoiler]. It would have been appropriate given that this is actually meant to be Kiryu's last go around. (for real this time)
Undoubtedly one of the best fights in the whole series Gotta say story wise I still prefer Yakuza Like A Dragon but man did they go crazy with the combat and gameplay of this one.

It sucked that my Kiryu was level 62 in this fight so I didn't get to have my feels devastated as badly by segments where Kiryu takes each of them to the own zone.
kiryu going "daigo come back the yakuza guys need your help" and an angry daigo going "no" was SO reminiscent of 2/kiwami 2, right down to kiryu deflecting daigo by grabbing his arm and telling him not to hold back if he's going to fight. i half expected to see a flashback of michelin man daigo from kiwami 2 as it happened

Best fight in the entire game hands down. Ost slaps and seeing kiryu have one last duel with the Tojo legends was epic. Couldn’t help but feel emotional when the brawler section kicked in during daigo’s turn with for face playing in the background 😭 really reminded me that I had been playing these games trying to catch up since 2020 and it’s been one hell of a ride.

Saejima attacks kiryu but seonhee appears and counter's saejima before he could hit kiryu
Daigo attacks Kiryu but Nanba appears to defend kiryu and fend off daigo
Saeko appears to give kiryu support and helps him get back on his feet and continue fighting

kiryu going "daigo come back the yakuza guys need your help" and an angry daigo going "no" was SO reminiscent of 2/kiwami 2, right down to kiryu deflecting daigo by grabbing his arm and telling him not to hold back if he's going to fight. i half expected to see a flashback of michelin man daigo from kiwami 2 as it happened
