It happened to me. I bought a super mint condition 11 pro aftermarket, the battery was 97%. After a week of use the battery dropped to 80% health. I used the 5w official apple charger. After 1.5 month it gave the battery service warning. Save yourself from scam. If you really want to buy an iPhone, buy it for a user like an individual. Don't buy it from Shop or refurbished dealers. I bought it for 37k sold it for 29k to get rid of that piece of junk. I learned my lesson & just bought a new iphone 13. I'll never buy refurbished phone again.
@@amin7326 the apple official battery replacement cost is 10000 INR. in 50k INR someone was offering me a 12 pro 256gb. So i sold the old one. But ended up buying a new 13 for 50k during Flipkart sale.
@@TAIT_SLYF1SH no performs at same rate but when somebody is selling the phone they sell it as new, this is a way to scam regular buyers… I am pissed of from this that’s why I want to show all the ways sellers are using there not many honest sellers left on the marked
@@gevargiscmanoj it wouldn’t be hard for them to make a phone that’s water/dust proof and still be user friendly to change the battery ourselves easily. They just make it hard on purpose 😅
After calibrating, How long will it last to remain 100%? Coz I feel like, this is what they did to the phone I bought a while ago. In just 2 days (since I bought it) it jumped to 90% and then for the 4th day became 86%😢.
Hey if they do only the health to a 100 it will degrade very quickly. But if they touch the cycles too than it will take 2-3 months to drop down some percents and this all depends from the usage
The way you are doing and handling of phone is very inadequate because without switching off your iPhone you are just clipping and unclipping connectors. It will impact motherboard
Sure with my 10 years of experience I have had never issues so far they have all protections you can imagine. If you think that any technician is switching off the battery think again )
@@techboy3655yeah I live in England too, £90 for me as well unfortunately. I have iPhone XR so I think it’s not worth it to spend £90 on this phone, better to just buy a new phone soon. Anyway, my battery health is at 79% now. Had the phone since June 2019.

Yes they do it all the time please check my other videos where I do replace the battery and still make it a 100 percent

This the crap that makes me dislike non removable batteries. It wasn’t that big of a deal to buy a oem battery. Pop the old one out and new one in.
True... But the phone wouldn't be water or dust resistant. I think we should only buy or repair our phones at trusted places...

@Tj Semeniuk less than 900 for a year old should be like 650-750 depends of the condition of course
@Tj Semeniuk yes. People should be honest. I’ll decide if it’s worth it
Please send the link to buy calibration device

No
