I’m not religious but I sometimes wonder if Dimash is a messenger sent from which ever god you believe in. Through his music he has brought millions of fans of different religions and cultures together. He sends a message through his songs of peace and unity. He leads by example in his personal life too. What were most of us doing when we were that age; certainly not trying to influence the entire world about the evils of war and concern how it affects children. Everyone in the world needs to hear this song, and I don't just say that because I'm a Dimash fan. This is a topic that's been close to his heart for a long time. 'War and Peace' is one of my all time favorites. I love everything in it: profound lyrics, an important humane message, a composition that is unusual, rich and complex. A very interesting mix of different instruments that seem to be fighting with each other. I guess they represent war, while Dimash’s sweet but passionate voice is like a plea for peace. I always like when he sings with Eastern melismas (here partly, in earlier versions even more). And the stage is awesome, as in many of these Digital Show performances.
This song should be the anthem of the world! NO to war! We, all nations, say NO to war! Listening to and watching Dimash is a treat on it's own but sharing the feeling with others and seeing your emotions pour out of them too is a precious feeling as well. He composed this song and explained to the Chinese poet what he wanted it to say. In his concerts, Dimash always presents this song with a short speech (the only song he presents so). He expresses his thoughts on how “there are no bad nations, there are only bad people” (I guess he means leaders). How war is not necessary at all. How all people are equal, and no one has the right to dictate the fate of others. How as adults we should think of children and make the world a good place for them ... Wise thoughts, and the audience always seems to agree. Dimash premiered ‘War and Peace’ at his first Chinese stadium concert in Changsha in December 2017. The first 30 minutes of it were broadcast live on a Chinese TV channel, and this song with Chinese subtitles was included. Dimash performed the song in 2 more concerts there, then he didn’t sing it for a long time. (Maybe he wanted to finish it?) The Dears kept asking to hear ‘War and Peace’ in concert. Finally, Dimash returned the song to his repertoire at his 2020 Arnau Tour concerts in Russia and Europe, in Latvia and Ukraine. The last live concert before the quarantine, in Ukraine, was filmed and it is on Dimash’s youtube channel. P.S. This is a topic that's been close to his heart for a long time. Part of his reason for doing what he does is to bring people together, North and South, East and West. 'War and Peace' is one of my all time favorites. I love everything in it: profound lyrics, an important humane message, a composition that is unusual, rich and complex. A very interesting mix of different instruments that seem to be fighting with each other. I guess they represent war, while Dimash’s sweet but passionate voice is like a plea for peace. I always like when he sings with Eastern melismas (here partly, in earlier versions even more). And the stage is awesome, as in many of these Digital Show performances.
This song should be the anthem of the world! NO to war! We, all nations, say NO to war! People of the planet are expressing their will through the words of this song, and through the voice of this remarkable guy and artist, through the words and music of Dimash, we shout NO to war, let there be peace on the entire planet! All people are free of God, we want peace and love, we want our children and elderly people to have peaceful skies, a peaceful existence and prosperity. War is destruction, it's a million steps backwards, it's regression, it's murder, we say NO to it. DIMASH 👏❤️ thank you dear man, bow to the ground, love and respect from Russia.

Muchos vocal coach y experto en musica solo analizan su tecnica y talento musical y no se preocupan por traducir sus canciones tal vez por la cantidad de idiomas en q canta y se entiende porque solo califican su musica..... Pero para quienes lo seguimos fiel mente descubrimos que el no es solo talento y musica.....todos y cada uno de sus temas tienen letras muy profundas y especiales. Antes en sus inicios hasta sus covers tenian que ser especiales y con letras con un significado. His Talent and Art can do this 💖 He connects us regardless and despite of our different backgrounds, cause we are all humans after all and suffer the same 💖
It's also the small things he does: those words written in many languages, give a feeling of inclusion to us. I mean chinese characters can be read by billions but there were greek too and frankly there are so few of us still speaking it in comparison and I suppose there were other languages, spoken by "few" that were included.

Thanks for the great reaction and thoughts! I’m glad you watched this song with subtitles. I love the lyrics. So deep and philosophical - no wonder, since it's Dimash's own message. He composed this song and explained to the Chinese poet what he wanted it to say. In his concerts, Dimash always presents this song with a short speech (the only song he presents so). He expresses his thoughts on how “there are no bad nations, there are only bad people” (I guess he means leaders). How war is not necessary at all. How all people are equal, and no one has the right to dictate the fate of others. How as adults we should think of children and make the world a good place for them ... Wise thoughts, and the audience always seems to agree.
Dimash premiered ‘War and Peace’ at his first Chinese stadium concert in Changsha in December 2017. The first 30 minutes of it were broadcast live on a Chinese TV channel, and this song with Chinese subtitles was included. Dimash performed the song in 2 more concerts there, then he didn’t sing it for a long time. (Maybe he wanted to finish it?) The Dears kept asking to hear ‘War and Peace’ in concert. Finally, Dimash returned the song to his repertoire at his 2020 Arnau Tour concerts in Russia and Europe, in Latvia and Ukraine. The last live concert before the quarantine, in Ukraine, was filmed and it is on Dimash’s youtube channel. P.S.
