Please, I'm gonna start crying again. I sometimes take a session of listening to PMD music, and I literlly just cried a few minutes ago. And now tears are threatening to appear once more..
Even now, years later, I can't help but shiver and turn into an emotional wreck. This is to date the one and only game to permanently affect me emotionally.
Aian Thomas If you have a phone, download the DraStic emulator to play. No bugs and rare crashes, no lag and you can play with sound. You also need to download the ROM file online. On a computer, any DS emulator would do. Need the ROM.
"The sun rises... Then it sets... We take that for granted and that's only natural. But things we take for granted... They're really the most essential things. And they're precious."
Wow, I actually shivered! This game, Explorers of Time/Sky, is the only one I've ever played that made me cry. Watching my partner grieve for me on that beautiful beach...the moment I disappeared, I actually had to stop playing the game for a few minutes to get my bearings! It's unbelievable, the sheer emotions that this nostalgic music can inspire in people!
when i was a little kid id start up red rescue team just to listen to the original version of this song. it still grips me and takes me away to a time long ago with tears and nostalgic depression
I couldn't agree more. Funny enough I have a game in the background that's playing wave sound effects. What a coincidence! I might just start crying again.
This soundtrack is far better than I remember... I'm getting a nostalgia spasm now, being that this was in my first Pokémon game ever (Yeah, I didn't even start with a main series game). *Writhes on the floor in nostalgia* I'm going to go play my Explorers of Time now...
it was my first pokemon game too, everyone at school told me that it didn't classify as a "real" pokemon but I carried on playing, it has truly made me who I am now.....
This game and Platinum's Soundtrack always causes me to tear up from nostalgia. So glad that I kept both, since they're rather hard to track down nowadays
wake up and stare at the ocean and think. think of what you can do as an explorer. you may go to unknown lands. you may discover mysterious ruins that might have secrets be they good or bad. you might solve the mysteries of the past or you could discover treasure or powerful new weapons. there could be danger but the rewards are seemingly endless. this is the message this relaxing tune is trying to deliver
Pokémon has been the main thing keeping me together all these years... Just picked up this game again and heard this song. Now I've been crying for over an hour. And Etika died on this day. So it's been rough.
Oh man, whenever I hear anything in this soundtrack, I always get the urge to cry because Explorers of Sky will always remain close to my heart, and this song is my absolute favorite ;v;
Can't believe I just started playing this yesterday. Reached the beach scene and the exceptional music started pouring in. Search it up immediately ^^ Thank you so much for uploading this
Replaying Explorers of Sky today, I really enjoyed this particular song here.. Gets me a little emotional thinking about it all (still!) But, actually, Red Rescue Team made me cry even more, with the story and ending. I remember feeling very attached to the way the story was played.. These pieces of art will always be a part of me. Truly amazing.
I remember when I was little, I never really made it that far in the game most of the time and I thought the beginning of the game was the only time this track was used. I still remember feeling astonished hearing it again near the end.
I remember that when I was around ten, I would just start a new game, let this song start, and have it play for an hour or so and just dream. I don't remember what I dreamed, but they were the best dreams I ever had. I guess they stemmed from how this song, just, gets it. The start and end of life, and all the pauses in between, this song describes and plays with it. It's mesmerizing, really, how all this stemmed from some fictional animal getting their lucky rock robbed, but I guess that's just a part of the charm. And I know I'm just gonna be another reflective comment amongst a sea of reflection, but if you are reading this, then thank you, for coming back or just checking this out, cause this song means a lot to the few of us, and we hope it can mean something to you
My favorite theme in the entire game!!! It reminded me of the trips to the beach with me and my cousin and how we sit outside on the back porch of the beach house and admire the sunsets...
you know what the saddest part of these games are? for example with super mystery dungeon your character used to be a human... he dropped everything every chain as a human was cut. I wonder if people miss him. I just got the game so I'm not sure how the game ends but I did play Sky. I mean imagine knowing you were a human, and then being a Pokémon the next day where your family, friends, tv, games, all that doesn't exists. to some it may sound fun but for the most part I think it's safe to say that your old life would be missed deeeeeeply
Ok, this game. Where do I begin. I don't have the time to write something long and particularly meaningful, so I'll just say that there's no doubt in my mind that this will forever be my favorite video game. Nothing can top it, period, especially when it comes to emotions; I still bawl my eyes out at the end (and I would know, since I played it again less than a month ago :)) *what a game.* Thank you to Chunsoft for basically making my childhood. As a side note: many of the characters in this game I looked up to as far as personality and ideals go, and so I tried to emulate them when I was younger, and I firmly believe I am a much better person than I would have been because of it. How many games can claim that much?? :)))
awwww... so many memories... and feelings... after all, the first PMD games were the ones i discovered pokemon with. i just hope the pkmn team will make another chapter!
How it started, then. *dramatic alert cuz I just remembered the memories* I was roleplaying with my friends on some forums, they were Pokemon Roleplays. I tried to find some dramatic music because my character was about to die. I found "Don't Ever Forget", so I used it. My friend preferred an another soundtrack from these series, but I chose the one I wanted to choose. I started to know the game more and more, finally played it. When I was younger, I played Pokemon Fire Red. My second one was Explorers of Sky I think. I played Sky only because later I realized that Time and Darkness have fewer characters to choose. I was so filled with nostalgia so I couldn't complete the Epilogue, but another way, the game was amazing. I won't ever forget, believe me. *almost crying* Finally, I played more games. More nostalgic games too. Including OneShot, my loved series of Telltale Games, Rayman Legends, and other good games. Now I don't know what to say. Just... playing some games again.. watching videos on youtube.. and other things. That... i think that was all... WAIT, NOT AT ALL! I STILL HAVEN'T COMPLETED SONIC HEROES YET! (downloads it from igg games and plays it) HERE I COME
Espeon and Umbreon at the beach playing with bubbles in slow motion. They look at the sun, this music sounds romantic i wonder if your the opposite gender of your partner he/she like you more than a friend or something.
Quest Tzecai People would still hate it because it doesn't have it's "original charm." (The 2D graphics...it doesn't make sense, but it's the same with every remake ever.)
Hello! Time traveller from 2020! Mystery dungeon DX is coming out soon which is a remake of the original mystery dungeon games! We're likely to see a remake of mystery dungeon sky somewhere in the future. Time traveller from 2020 out!
And to think, where this music plays is where the adventure begins, and where it ends...
Whoa, that's actually kind of amazing!
Please, I'm gonna start crying again. I sometimes take a session of listening to PMD music, and I literlly just cried a few minutes ago. And now tears are threatening to appear once more..
@@revannoct8724 it's okay to cry to a masterpiece like this.

Same...
Theaggyyu I lost this game sadly :(
"You got a sexy behind"

"The sun rises... Then it sets... We take that for granted and that's only natural.

This is one of those games that carry some kind of magic feel in them.. I honestly do miss that feel..
Wow, I actually shivered!

I couldn't agree more.
Funny enough I have a game in the background that's playing wave sound effects. What a coincidence! I might just start crying again.
Its amazing how the feelings emitted from this track are completely different at the beginning and end of the game.
This soundtrack is far better than I remember... I'm getting a nostalgia spasm now, being that this was in my first Pokémon game ever (Yeah, I didn't even start with a main series game).

Best and most fitting song for the beginning and end of the game

First 4 seconds gave me chills from the nostalgia. Weird. Haven’t heard this joint in a good decade
I listen to this song over and over again. I makes me feel a mixture of sad and happy. Its amazing :')
This song brings up so many feelings. Sadness, hope, friendship... I could go on but it's all up to the listener to understand.

always been one of my favorite video game songs, just makes me think of the beach and of this beautiful game
It really gets to me when Grovyle talks about seeing the sun while this music plays.

The Feels. My Female Torchic ( Tessa ) And Female Piplup ( Mimi ). Never Evolved Them. So Sad Bro. The Tears Were Real.
Brings so much nostalgia :(
If this game allowed for multiple save files, I'd play this over and over again
Oh my, memories. This game made me ponder about complex things like the world and stiff
for as little of this as I actually played when I was little, I feel so lucky to have played it in my childhood at all... ow the feels...
pokemon always has the most emotional music.. and the best music
This song is good for going to sleep with. I love it for its truly calming nature.

I love this music adrian (pikachu) and madoka (vulpix) forever
I've never played this game, yet this song gives me a resounding sense of nostalgia
Man I remember my Charmander partner getting all 'Wowie!' from this scene. Such a nice scene.
Beat the game 7 times and I still cry at the end.
I am crying so much from all the mystery dungeon songs I'm listening to! I love my partner! I always will!
awwww... so many memories... and feelings... after all, the first PMD games were the ones i discovered pokemon with. i just hope the pkmn team will make another chapter!

The start of the adventure.... And the end, I love this game

AND WHAT IDIOT HATED THIS!!!!!
Listen to this on the morning watching the sunrise...
Beautiful
This would be in my top ten list of good Pokemon music
It seemed so interesting the the game started and ended in the same place... same song... I just love the song.
Espeon and Umbreon at the beach playing with bubbles in slow motion. They look at the sun, this music sounds romantic i wonder if your the opposite gender of your partner he/she like you more than a friend or something.
Favourite song in the game. Hands down.
it just knocks me out

*NOSTALGIA ALERT*
I don't think any song has ever made me feel moer emotion in my life. ;^; Or anything for that matter.
