Milton Hershey School - She's Coming Home (Deanna's Story)

Deanna Slamans graduated from Milton Hershey School in 1991. Later in life, she and her husband decided to come back, and continue the mission of Milton S. Hershey by becoming houseparents at the school.
Founded in 1909 by chocolate industrialist Milton S. Hershey and his wife Catherine, Milton Hershey School is a private residential school, located in Hershey, PA, that provides a home, quality education, food, and clothing to students in financial and social need free-of-cost to the students and their families. For more than 100 years, the School has been a special place where children can open doors to a brighter future.
