Milton S. Hershey

Milton Snavely Hershey was born Sept. 13, 1857, on a farm in Derry Township, Dauphin County.
Hershey died Oct. 13, 1945, at the age of 88.
Hershey established The Hershey Chocolate Company. The factory opened in 1905. He created the Hershey Kiss in 1907. In 1909 he and his wife, Catherine, opened the Hershey Industrial School for orphaned boys.
