    Nice job matt
I loathe trim work, especially at -20. Something always breaks.

Yea plastic trim can snap like a frosty carrot 🥕

It does change the job when it's that cold. I was expecting that to happen, although today I was in luck, no left over screws either. Cheers Matt

Batarya bağlantılarını çıkarmadan mı yaptın? Eğer Çıkardıysan radio kodu şifresi gerekli oldu mu? Teşekkürler.

Thanks for this one. Haven’t done one on these either yet.
Seems you have no chance to lever out the air vents without leaving (small) marks.
It‘s a nuisance that many vehicles aren’t built with maintenance in mind.
And the diesel got an idle of 900 rpm? I know the 1.6 petrol idles at 640rpm!

brilliant, my fans gone on my fabia but the model i have doesn't have the glove box. More a pocket/shelf kind of layout. I will assume same process to remove it :) Cheers bud

What's the part number of this heater blower?

What was the book time for that job Matt? Looks fairly involved

    • @mechanicmatt871

Book time to replace the blower motor is 2.5 hours

It's not a lot of time that they give, when I talk to other mechanics, they say they add extra time due to the age of the car, cheers Matt

@@mechanicmatt871 Agreed. That’s what I always do. On some occasions, I will only do a job on an hourly rate. I’m fed up with losing so much time on some repairs

Bit of a tricky job that one Matt but maybe beats laying on your back in the pouring rain mate.

Ease of servicing doesn’t appear to be a priority with that design. Whatever happened to 2 or 3 screws and plug and out? Impressive tenacity Matt 👍

      Engineer's don't think about the mechanics/technicians.

@@mechanicmatt871Well I don’t know if that’s entirely true. Engineers are handed a design specification and expected to work within those constraints. Designing a modern vehicle compliant to all regulations within cost ceilings can’t be easy. Although ball breaking installations, may have you thinking otherwise 🤣

Mybe you should show exactly how to get the dash out as that's the hard part . Wast of time watching this

I didn't remove it , I just removed the screws that I showed, that gave me enough room to change the blower motor
