We sold all our Ego gear as it was too heavy for us, but we are down to one 5 amp battery after our other two died just outside of the 3-year warranty and those batteries are uber expensive. We live in a community that provides all our lawn care, so we now need light-duty cleanup, blowing debris from the garage and patio area, and drying my Tesla.
Fisher Price "My First Leaf Blower". I can't see buying that unless your using it for a quick clean off after a mow. Not for leaf clean up. Especially for the price.
I don’t see the point of having a blower, a blower/vac makes more sense unless you are just pushing it away and don’t care if it might blow back later. I would rather vacuum up the leaves with something that grinds them up into tiny pieces so you can fit more into the leaf bag. I use a Toro blower/ vac combo that can do both, and the only drawback is it’s corded, but the output power beats anything on a battery.
@@Kitearmy Thats great if there is someone picking it up for you. Where I live they don’t have that and we are responsible for picking up the leaves in our yard. Even if they did pick it up for us, if you just blow it out into the street many times it just goes into someone’s yard or back into your own before they could come and pick it up for you, so IMO it’s better and a more neighborly thing to just pick it up.
That volume vs speed… makes no sense.. longer barrel would have more speed shorter would have more volume.. those ducts on the side.. aren’t doing much to pull additional air to create more volume… the motor is where the most efficency is for volume.. not ducts along the way In a more reasonable approach it would work.. but for a low grade consumer product.. no… if anything for more speed they would put a flap or something to restrict volume.
@@Kitearmy the closer the ducts to the motor the more effective the cfm increase would be.. whereas he further away it is, the less effective. It’s a very poor execution but tbh for light work or small areas.. it seems nice.

A decent looking sidewalk or driveway blower. It might work nice to dry the car or truck after a wash especially as light as it is.

Worx actually makes a cordless one - like many people I blow mine into the woods or street for pickup
