    In this video we compare the most popular Worx leaf blower models to show you how well each leaf blower moves the leaves. We also show the vacuuming and mulching capability on the all-in-one leaf blower yard vacuums. The models are the Worx Air WG545.1 and WG575.1; the Worx Turbine WG546 and WG591; the 3-in-1 Worx TriVac WG500.2, WG505, and WG509; the all-new 3-in-1 Worx Turbine Fusion WG510, and the economy model 3-in-1 Worx WG507.

    I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

    Nice presentation! I was impressed with the last model, but I'm wondering how well it mulches pine needles, especially wet ones. The trees I have are almost all pines and the needles fall in the winter, too....Thanks!

    • @primetimesolutionsinc9550
      @primetimesolutionsinc9550  7 лет назад +1

      The Turbine Fusion does a pretty great job mulching anything that falls from a tree. I'd suggest spreading the piles of wet pine needles out in your yard to dry some before you attempt to vac and mulch them. It's not that you can't vac and mulch wet pine needles, but they will clump and become difficult to to work with. Dry needles will be vacuumed and mulched much easier.

    What about the WG512 I see on the website? I'm tempted to get the WG510, but also, why does CFM increase on the higher end models, but MPH decreases? Is this simply due to the size of the hole/stream of air? Could it not simply be adapted down to a smaller output to increase the MPH? Personally from working with filters CFM makes more sense in a rating to me, and the MPH just makes things confusing? The mulch ratio of the 510 looks good though, and that might be the winning feature for me even over the 512?

I have the smaller one 'the WORX WG545.I 20 Volt' and love it for my patio, driveway, garage etc and have had it for years. But now I need a BIGGER CFM for the massive amounts of leaves at my new property and from what I've seen on your video the WG591 will do it. Thanks.

    New Subbie here thanks for the vid. Just received this as a present. The second to last with bag attachment. My lot is a .25 acre not too sure abt the efficiency of having to empty it so often. However I'm thankful. What do you prefer for larger lots?

    • @primetimesolutionsinc9550
      @primetimesolutionsinc9550  7 лет назад +1

      Thank you for your comment, Mz. Bailey. It is hard to say if there is a perfect unit for a specific lot size. It’s more about what functions and features each user prefers. That said, we really enjoy using the new WG510 given the mulch ratio of 24:1 and the blowing power of 525 cfm. It does a fantastic job at mulching the leaves down to a consistency of garden mulch, and the blowing power is more than enough to clear large areas in a short amount of time.

    • @primetimesolutionsinc9550
      @primetimesolutionsinc9550  5 лет назад

      We sped up the video by 50% to show the suction process as quickly as possible. Each pile took roughly 60 seconds to vacuum in real time. However, everyone's pile of leaves will be different (size, density, wet vs dry, etc.) so your time may vary from our time. The real thing to see in the vacuuming process is how well each unit mulches.

  • @MrPolymers

    I have the WG 510 blower vac. I only use it for the vacuuming function. First, I also have a Toro electric blower and mulcher. The WG 510 tends to clog less and is much more efficient than the Toro. HOWEVER, don't think that the fact the 510 vacuum reduces the debris to 24 to 1 is necessarily a good thing. This high condensing of the debris comes at a price. You are literally covered in fine dust from the blower/vac. Worx needs to WORK on the bag system better.

  • @mariecarolynn7008
    @mariecarolynn7008 5 лет назад

    But why put the mute button on hearing what it sounds like when your vacuuming up the leaves If we hear it we get used to hearing it? @10:22, nothing but silence. If I buy one I need to know what it sounds like?

    • @primetimesolutionsinc9550
      @primetimesolutionsinc9550  5 лет назад +1

      As with any lawn equipment, hearing protection is strongly recommended. We had small internal earplugs inserted when we were shooting this video. We sped up the video by 50% to show the suction process as quickly as possible. Each pile took roughly 60 seconds to vacuum in real time. However, everyone's pile of leaves will be different (size, density, wet vs dry, etc.) so your time may vary from our time.

      Great question, Justice. While these units are capable of sucking up acorns, some acorns can be extremely hard and may do some damage to the impellers. We suggest blowing the acorns to a centralized location and raking them up, or using a nut gatherer tool like this: www.amazon.com/Garden-Weasel-Medium-Nut-Gatherer/dp/B0042U6GE8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481235143&sr=8-1&keywords=acorn+collector

    • @primetimesolutionsinc9550
      @primetimesolutionsinc9550  6 лет назад +1

      GRJCLyon, the vac mode is really not much louder than what you hear in the leaf blowing mode. The only thing that may be a bit noisier is when it is mulching leaves and debris you can hear that, but not a big difference. When doing a full leaf cleanup it's always a good idea to wear ear and eye protection which will mitigate the sound.

    In my opinion, the worx is THE worst unit I have ever owned. Makes all sorts of noise and unacceptable performance. It wiIl not even pick up leaves unless they are loose. Small sticks and debris just bounce around in the pickup tube. The bag is too small but for a few minutes of use. The 60 mph blowing feature is a joke. After using the others (and wearing them out) Echo and Toro are the best, Black and Decker is third. Worx is a distant fourth. Its your money. There's a reason they have to advertise!

    • @lunalynd
      @lunalynd 6 лет назад

      Jay p, sorry you had such a bad experience with your Worx Vac, the one I purchased was the WG502 w/ metal impeller, it was a champ at picking up and mulching leaves, with plenty of power. I had mine with no problems for about 5 years, one day I wasn't paying attention to what was on my driveway and sucked up a rag, and I wasn't able to turn off the switch fast enough and burned out the motor, I almost cried because I really enjoyed this tri vac, I was hoping to get a replacement motor, but it was not cost worthy, so I purchased a new WG509, I already have 3 bags and the trash can attachment so that's why I didn't want the new WG510.
